Certain cultures make no distinction between genuine physial infection by diease orgainsm and things being “tainted” by purely symbolic associations. That’s just foolish, and yet if you point that out, they go all PC on your ass.

I think the idea of “eeew, gross” is a universal human thing. If you’re trying to abolish “eew, gross” in favour of something more rational, you have a long, long struggle ahead.
Lets face it, a pork chop slathered in a strangers semen and grilled for a few minutes to make it sterile would be 100% safe. But would you really want to eat it?

It’s not advocating sodomy or bestiality. It’s just saying that, in the event an animal has been sodomised, you can no longer eat it.
Seems a little superfluous declaring the meat haram after having just committed the even bigger sin of buggering the poor thing but he’s just covering all the bases I suppose.
Personally I’ve always thought that if you’re going to be hung for stealing a sheep, you might as well shag it as well.

In the UAE, there were a couple of cases of men convicted for bestiality (camels, cows) and the animals were destroyed in each case.
There was something of an outcry about it among the expat community, because we found it repulsive that the animal was essentially being executed for being the innocent victim of some dirty rapist. Had the animal been so damaged or traumatised then maybe it would have been a kind action. But this claim was never made.
The men involved would have been jailed and deported, not executed or lashed.
