A Google search found nothing like that (although there are gobs of blogs out there accusing Michael of attempted murder, though). Perhaps you are thinking of that Law & Order episode?

Wouldja look at that? A use of the phrase “sanctity of marriage” that’s actually refering to the sanctity of marriage. Never thought I’d see the day…
He did get death threats. As did his lawyer and several judges in the case.

Michael Schiavo in hiding after death threats
Terri Schiavo’s widower has gone into hiding because of the furore over his wife’s death and has sought police protection.
Michael Schiavo, 41, is under guard three days after his disabled wife died from dehydration at a Florida hospice.
Michael Schiavo relative reports threat
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (CNN) – Michael Schiavo’s sister-in-law said a man threatened to shoot her and her family if Terri Schiavo dies, Philadelphia police said Tuesday.
. . .
Joan Schiavo, who has testified over the years that Terri Schiavo would not have wanted to be kept alive in her condition, reported Monday evening that a white car drove by her Philadelphia-area home at 4:30 a.m., 5:10 a.m. and 7 a.m., when she was leaving to go to work, said Cpl. Jim Pauley, a police spokesman.
During the last pass, Schiavo told police, the car stopped and the man inside yelled “murderer,” then added, “If Terri dies, I’m coming back to shoot you and your family.”

A death threat is not attempted murder. Sorry.
But offering a reward for someone’s death is.

No, I think it’s solicitation or conspiracy to commit, not an actual attempt.
actually it is a completed solicitation to murder, as opposed to an attempted crime of murder…but let’s not quibble.
