But – to answer your question … I don’t know. I’m not a statesman. No one elected me anything. I’m not a military strategist. I’m not a diplomat. I have very little capacity for valid negotiation.
I have, however, been graced with a little something called “common sense”, which tells me that killing innocent people because they live in a country that you’ve decided to hate is a … what? That’s right … a bad idea.
Let those whose job it is to make these decisions make them. Let those whose job it is to plan military missions plan them. Let those whose job it is to gather evidence gather it without the prying and gun-jumping eye of teh fucking media.
Let those who are tired go to bed.

Or, in our role as educated citizens of a democracy, we could question, expect, investigate, complain, support, and doubt, with the media providing us with the information with which to do so.
I believe this is supposed to be a continuation of the “discussion” started in the thread “Kill them all”.
I don’t pretend to know exactly what we should do. We should use military force, covert operations, diplomatic pressure, intelligence gathering, and law enforcement. We should seek the cooperation of other countries. We should target both the terrorists and those who harbor or support them. We should go after terrorist cells and terrorist training camps and also go after their sources of financial support. We should target their communications networks (if that’s even possible).
That’s all a lot of generalities, of course. Like I said, I don’t know exactly what we should do or exactly how we should do it. But, if you have a really bad headache, even if I don’t have any aspirin and there aren’t any icepacks handy, that won’t stop me from pointing out that hitting yourself in the head with a hammer is unlikely to make you feel better.
I guess you mean that if your opinions aren’t supported in one thread or one forum, you’ll just keep posting more threads in all the fora until someone agrees with you.

There are already a shitload full of threads in which the very question you pose is being seriously debated - would you please stop insulting the intelligence of this community by your apparent need to see your own name at the top of the page every time we refresh?
