I haven’t been able to bring myself to actually watch it yet, but I read some of the lowlights of trump’s recent address to the U.N. in this MSNBC article, and it sounds like a doozy. A couple reaction quotes:
Democratic Rep. Melanie Stansbury of New Mexico told MSNBC in response to the address, “This man is literally unhinged, irresponsible, bizarre, bonkers, ludicrous. I don’t even know why his staff are allowing him to stand in front of a mic at this point. It was completely incoherent.”
Ishaan Tharoor, a global affairs columnist for The Washington Post, wrote online after the speech, “I’ve reported on every Trump UNGA speech. This is easily the craziest one.”
If I find myself traveling abroad in the coming months / years, I may very well do some flagjacking of my own. Sorry, Canadian friends
