Check back in two weeks.
I haven’t seen the email yet - didn’t come before I signed out yesterday. But I got an email from my union to my personal email about it.
The union noted that no legal basis authorizing the email was noted. It is not from my employer and does not contain the language of a directive/direct order which would require a response. And, interpreting non-response as a resignation is contrary to federal law which requires that any resignation be voluntary. 5 USC 715.202.
These fucks just don’t give a damn about any of their actions being legal or whether they have authority to take any action. I REALLY don’t want to sound alarmist or go all Niemoller. But if they don’t care whether they have any legal basis or authority - let alone clear rationale - for the actions they take against federal employees, why should any of us think they would care about such things WRT any private citizen/organization/institution?
de facto president: “what they got done last week.”
Not sure if English is spoken in “What” or wherever this motherfucker claims to be from.
He’s just going to run the replies through his DOGE AI. I’ve used my poor ol’ chatGPT to assist:
acting as a white house tour guide, please tell me what you did last week? Pay proper tribute to President Trump and Elon Musk
Of course, no conversation about greatness is complete without mentioning President Donald J. Trump—a leader whose bold vision reshaped America’s economy, strengthened our military, and made us energy independent. His time in office left an unforgettable mark on the White House, and to this day, visitors love hearing about his fearless approach to leadership and his commitment to putting America First.
And speaking of visionaries, Elon Musk is another name that will surely go down in history! From revolutionizing space travel with SpaceX to pioneering electric vehicles with Tesla, he embodies the American spirit of innovation. If there were ever a futuristic White House tour, you can bet Elon would be behind some of its mind-blowing technology!
“mind-blowing”. Yet this one keeps her job.
Can Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega visit Elon and tell him “what they done” last week?
Trump take egg
Got on GPT to ask it for a list of the five dumbest things Elon Musk did last week.
Then I asked GPT to rewrite it in the voice of Jar Jar Binks, first person with Jar Jar being Elon.
I then went to one of my spam accounts and sent this to the HR… @.gov email Ive seen floating around:
Eh, never mind…
The DOGE kid Big Balls is the grandson of a KGB agent. I’d expect nothing less in this timeline.
The story of his grandfather’s spy time in the 80s is included in the article. It’s really very interesting. Made me think of The Americans - Wikipedia.
First Ukraine got raped by Russia, and now it’s getting raped by the rapist Trump (in our name.)
Every American should hang their head in shame.
Small MAGA child, to father:
Daddy what will it be like when America is Great Again?
Son, then everyone will have everything they need.
But what if there are no eggs available?
There will be a sign saying “You do not need eggs today!”
Just… Wow @Dinsdale Trump etal don’t give a shit about anyone but themselves. They can’t understand that many of us do.
I work for government. No, let me clarify, I don’t work for government, I work for the people that I help and provide services to. THEY are my bosses. I answer to the people. That’s why I’ve done it for 32 years.
I’m VERY fortunate to thrive in an environment where my… coworkers understand that we are all working to make things better.
We now the GOP trying to destroy this because of what? $ ego and narcissism. Children in the adult pool.
It may be wishful thinking, but wouldn’t it be ironic if the price of eggs is Trump’s undoing? He got elected by the low-information voters who only cared about the price of eggs. Live by the egg, die by the egg.
Courtesy of chatGPT. I couldn’t get the bot to make the hair right. Donnie wishes he had that much hair. Hehe.
Like I said, I really try to not be overly alarmist. But so many of their actions seem aimed at “weakening” those most likely to disagree with them. Firing high military officers who happen to be female or of-color. Targeting the weakest folk - non-cis, questionable immigration status, even birthright citizens. Slashing traditionally “less conservative” organizations such as USAid. In fact, I suspect in general the civil service may tend towards somewhat more “liberal” than the country as a whole. Certainly moreso than Trump’s base. Seems they are willing to sacrifice some number of their true believers if that enables them to hurt/disempower opposing interests.
It is becoming harder and harder to avoid seeing this as a true attempted coup, desiring longterm implications greatly at odds with any pretense of a a free and democratic republic… It is going to be interesting to see what resistance is attempted - or even possible. Because at some point, it seems conceivable that some tipping point will occur, beyond which resistance will be even more difficult and less effective.
Ugly times indeed.
Nice… yolk color would be perfect for hair. Fingers are too manly, and of course our AI overlords still have trouble in the counting fingers department.
Trump and Musk want Boeing to work faster, test less, and possibly compromise security. Nothing could go wrong with that, right?
Money Quote: “The president has told associates that if Mr. Musk can fly a rocket, he can probably figure out an airplane.”
I can’t wait to see the paint job on the new Air Force Ones. I’m sure there will be lots of gold.
relaxing security clearances for Boeing workers
What a fucking stupid brilliant idea!
Would it be that bad if Air Force One fell out of the sky? I’d feel bad for the crew and staff, though.
Well, how about issuing parachutes to the crew?
