From what I’ve read, the “deal” actually puts the money into a US-managed fund which will be used to rebuild war-damaged infrastructure in Ukraine. It seems that someone actually managed to write up a program where Ukraine gets to reap all the benefits and sold it to Trump as a victory for him, which he took because he’s a dementia-ravaged moron.
Trump posted on Truth Social an AI-generated video of Gaza being rebuilt into a Dubai-esque playground for the rich, which starts with Gazans apparently engaging in cannibalism and then progresses into massive towers, a suntanned Elon Musk eating hummus, transgender women with beards belly-dancing on the beach, giant golden statues of himself and children carrying giant golden balloons shaped like his head, children dancing around on the beach while Elon makes it rain money, a gift store selling golden Trump statuettes, Trump ballroom-dancing with a bare-assed stripper, and Trump and Bibi relaxing shirtless on deck chairs in front of the pool at “Trump Gaza”, all accompanied by an AI-generated rap with vocals that sound like a 10-year-old boy.

I just read the Onion article- it’s about wealthy Americans who are already U.S. citizens paying for extra benefits, like exemption from jury duty and speeding tickets, or extra voting privileges-- not wealthy foreigners. Look, if Trump goes around trying to power-grip and one-up everybody he shakes hands with, it’s his problem that he gets it back in turn, 78 or 48. He also will pull you towards him and try and shake you like a rag-doll but Trudeau showed how to palm Trump’s right shoulder with his left hand and neutralise that. It’s a dickhead manoeuvrer and would have, I reckon, been beneath TR.
