The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues

I learned today that the Trump tariffs rely on his declaration of an emergency, and that congress has the authority to un-declare the emergency.

So now I am even more disgusted with the spinless bastards.

In fact the Germans are particulary varied: Germans for you anglophones, alemanes for the hispanoparlantes, tedeschi for the Italians, Nemetzki for the Russians, allemands for the francophones, Deutsche for themselves, and I believe the Japanese and the Chinese have interesting names for them too. Imagine what would happen if they took it personally, like the Malvinas case or the Gulf of the Golfplayer: That could easily have started a World War or two!

In that case, I believe it is something that sounds like “doits”, i.e. a variation of “Deutsch”, which is probably as close as they can manage with their language.

Oh, they’re not “spinless” at all. Spineless, yes, but they can spin this shit just fine.

And to iterate, they are bastards.

I really should proofread my posts

I like the version I’ve seen going around Facebook:

First they came for the trans people
And I spoke up immediately
Because I’ve read the rest of the fucking poem

Oh, Congress has lots of spin.

[I know what you meant]

Have you seen the price of vowels lately?!?

Yep. Trump is a criminal scumbag, and has been most of his life. I don’t expect him to do the right thing, because he has many vested interests in doing the wrong thing.

But everyone else who could stop him, but doesn’t, are fucking assholes. Don’t whine to us about Trump when you refused to use your legal power to stop him.

Yeah, I’d literally pay- I don’t know- $5,000 for the chance to say that to McConnell’s face.

And I’m not being hyperbolic. Making him HEAR that would be worth that kind of money.

I wonder what Comey thinks these days, nine years later.

I thought those are the East American Ocean and the West American Ocean.

I know. I can barly afford ggs. Any mor hiks and I won’t b abl to talk at all.

Sounds like there was some partying going on at the Capitol last night after the speech. I wonder how many drunks were on the roads afterwards? I’m guessing Pete has a driver, though.

Trump visiting a regular school and being asked a not-at-all staged couple questions from two professional nine-year olds:

Q: “Mr. President, now that you have wisely banned LBG indoctrination in schools, how will I ever use the other LBG’s, Literature, Biology or Geography in my life?”
Trump: “You will not. My next executive order will ban the ‘junk sciences’ including Literature, Biology and Gee… the third one you said. Next question. The lovely young girl there who looks like my daughter.”

Q: “Mr. President, why does The Second Greatest Leader Putin like using the letter Z in his totally justifiable actions against Ukraine?”
Trump: "Because in the alphabet and language Russians were indoctrinated in, the letter pronounced like the American ‘N’ looks like the American ‘H’ and there is no ‘Z’’ in Hazi. in Russia they prefer нацист which sounds like “natsist” and fascist is фашист so repeat after me, “Natsist and Fascist”

Was it partying or the fact that even they can’t stand sucking up to Stalin 2 while sober?

See that President Trump can make all these enormous decisions without any challenges or votes by our elected officials why they still collecting paychecks! There only functions up to now has been to either applaud or denounce? In 52 years being able to vote this is beyond be a bad fictional story! I hope we can make it to the midterms?

*Glf clp*

:clap::clap::clap:

Looks like Trump is caving again on the tariffs.

I bet he thought the markets would climb and people would cheer for whatever inane reason.

Instead, he’s got a bunch of CEOs complaining and the stock indices are falling.

Unfortunately, he won’t learn, and we’ll be doing this again in a month, while any other country that might still have thought he (or the rest of the US collectively) could learn now either know better or will themselves never learn.

I just wish I could deal with such masterful negotiators when buying cars or houses or even grocery shopping.
