Remember when Trump told that story about the old woman who came up to the grocery counter with three apples, and the clerk told her the price because that’s how you find out what things cost at the store, and she counted up her pennies and realized she couldn’t afford three apples, so the clerk made her go put the third apple back in the refrigerator while everyone watched?
That was me. I made her do that. And then when she came back with the two apples I didn’t let her buy them anyway because she didn’t have her grocery ID.

He’s also a small, mean, petty man, and he’s jealous of Justin Trudeau, who is better looking, taller, and who was seen on video mocking him with other world leaders at a function at Buckingham Palace back in 2019. There’s also that photo of Melania with Trudeau still going around, and the warm relationship he had with Obama is just the cherry on the sundae.
It’ll be interesting to see what the relationship with Carney will be like going forward. He’s not starting things off well.
On another note, it occurred to me recently that Elon is sort of doing, digitally to the US, what Pol Pot did to Cambodia.
And having Trump next door is like living next door to the Kaiser.

Carney having lived in London, I imagine Carney Vs. Trump will go something like this:
25% tariffs on all steel and aluminium, from all countries, going into effect, although a threatened 50% tariff on Canadian steel has been cancelled*.

* Reports are saying “cooler heads prevailed”. I think that needs to be corrected to just heads prevailed i.e. anyone with a functioning brain and understanding of trade. Clearly trump believes the more trade the US is doing with a country, the more of an enemy they are.

Just a perfect example of these fuckers missing a valid target. They are making a lot of changes quickly, apparently dictating to a cowed Congress. If only they took advantage of the opportunity to make meaningful change/improvement to the funding of SS, rather than using claims of nonexistent “fraud” to cause more stress and pain to the most vulnerable persons.
