My wife is an RN, BSN (worked in wound care), and she’s a Certified Foot Care Specialist. She looked into becoming an RN in Canada before she started her own foot care business, but British Columbia requires her to basically take her NCLEX again. The only province that would accept her credentials is Alberta.
Check again: the province is now fast-tracking doctors and nurses.

ETA: During the Cold war and any events that happened since, no Ambassador was ever declared “persona non grata” and kicked out of the Soviet Union or the USA. And that also goes for the tourist spies who said they were in Salisbury to see the “world famous 123 meter Cathedral” yet intstead sprayed some Novichuk around. It is a big thing to kick ambassadors out.
There is no “G8” right now. Russia was invited to join the G7 in the 1990s, making it the G8, but they were suspended from the organization in 2014, for the annexation of Crimea, and Russia then chose to permanently leave the G8 in 2017/18, making it revert back to the G7.
If giving Crimea back to Ukraine are the conditions - and don’t believe those are the current conditions (under which Russia was dispelled) - that is absolutely not going to happen. The port at Sevastopol is Russian, and so is Crimea.
I’m not sure what being in or out of the G8 matters. I assume some kind of trade and economic benefits? How can “peace” be established without (at least) inviting Russia back in? How have sanctions done anything but fuck regular transactions between Russia and “The West” and I speak from a perspective where £500 could no longer be sent to a bank in Russia, which caused harm to my in-laws who do not own yachts or real estate in Notting Hill.
Russia got what they want. They will of course run sham elections and get a Putin puppet into Ukraine, Trump just wants accolades from “bringing the peace” and Greenland.
