I totally agree. It baffles me that more wasn’t made of this during the Harris campaign. The man is a murderer, and will never be held accountable for it.
It doesn’t baffle me; the public has been successfully gaslit over that, so she would have had to whack-a-mole several levels of disinformation before she could start to make that case. There was an information war, but the election was too late to fight it (on that topic anyway).
It is enraging though.
The US was the country that developed several of the covid vaccines, in record time, yet it was the one that had the most deaths.
Yet not only does Trump not get any blame for his false statements, callousness and incompetence, he basically gets a mulligan for the whole year. Even left-leaning news sources would say the economy did great under Trump, for example, giving him a pass for 2020 that no democrat president would ever get.
I can’t read the article because it’s paywalled, but from the Facebook meme:
The richest man in the world took over $5K out of this guy’s bank account, claiming he was dead. The richest man in the world said he was saving money.
He was not dead.
Elon Musk’s DOGE marked this poor man, 82-year-old Ned Johnson, dead. They removed $5,000 from his bank savings account, and cancelled his Social Security and Medicare.
In one digital move, Elon Musk obliterated this man’s life…and there’s no way for Johnson and his wife to repair the damage DOGE caused.
It’s difficult thinking of the future for your young ones.
I just wish I had died long before this with the rest of of my family. I am happy they are not here to experience all of this. I hate that I am still here is all I meant.
Aside: I watched a cop show on TV recently where the police force’s IT guy wanted to get the Bad Guy to admit to some stuff. He didn’t beat up the bad guy, torture him, or threaten his family. Instead he told the guy (this was in France) that he would delete his government social security accounts (whatever they call it), his medical history and access, all of his personal insurance, delete his bank accounts, delete his driver’s license and car registration, cancel his cell phone account and number, his internet access, and all other digital links between the guy and well, the rest of the world. In this day and age, that is obliteration.
To pick a slight nit, you can love the Nazi approach to governing and not be anti-Semitic. Your own posted example shows that. Now, he and his ilk have used dog whistles (“global elite”, Soros, etc), but has yet to actually disadvantage Jews like he has brown people, Muslims, etc. [sarcasm] I mean, c’mon. His Son-in-Law is Jewish; his daughter converted, his grandchildren are Jewish! He can’t be anti-Semitic![/sarcasm]
If I had an ounce of artistic skill, I’d create a “trolley problem” meme here with “tax cuts for rich guys” on the main track and “millions of people in Africa” on the switch track, and Donald and Elon pulling the switch with gusto.
My feeling is that Trump’s antisemitism is a bit idiosyncratic. He believes all that garbage about Jews controlling the media, banks, etc. but rather than get upset about it he admires them like he admires all dictators.
The sources also emphasized that “a U.S. invasion of Panama is unlikely and would only come under serious consideration if a larger American military presence in Panama does not achieve President Donald Trump’s goal of reclaiming the waterway.”
The person in the link does videos and memes in Canada between customers. He is VERY angry with Americans and doesn’t think that he will ever be able to trust us ever again.
I’m getting similar pushback from many people in Canada who literally want to corner American sounding tourists and harass them. It’s (from what I see) getting Really Ugly in Canada. They’re calling for fistfights, spitting in food, throwing drinks in faces of people for just Sounding like Americans. They really think Pumpkin Head is going to invade.
Rump usually likes to threaten, intimidate, and find a way to buy when items sell low and then sell when they go back up. I honestly don’t think he has the balls to invade Anyone… but he has really riled up the Canadians.
There was a meme going around, “You have a button. If you push it, you get a million dollars, but someone you don’t know dies.” A follow-up meme added, “By the way, every billionaire you’ve ever heard of spends all day just pushing that button, over and over again.”
