I assumed it was “WhitePower1!”
Trump can’t see coal mines from his golf courses.
Yeah, but what do you do when the planet runs out of wind or sunlight? I’ll bet you wish you had coal when that happens!
Welcome the dolphin overloads that are smarter than half the USA population
This needs to be in a Trump speech… except his magats would just nod their empty heads.
Stefanik’s appointment to be UN ambassador has been yanked because they’re worried about losing the House.
I would somehow not be shocked if, should the elections not go well, the House GOP tried to deny seating the newly elected Reps.
Interesting times we live in
I just caught this as a new story…did you have the inside line on this, or were there similar efforts elsewhere?!

There was this similar article on the same day:
And a week before Paul Krugman, former NYT writer and Nobel Price winner, mused about the attractiveness of sweat shops when making America great again:
Both approaches seem related to me, and both will not be beneficial for the people who get those jobs, if they get them at all. But, just as with tariffs, some people seem to think that it is a great idea. Don’t ask me to explain, I can’t understand how they reason (and I use this word generously).
There’s also the issue of exactly why they expect children to actually volunteer for those jobs, when adults won’t take them…unless of course they don’t intend to give those children a choice in the matter.
Do you know whether minimum wages apply to children or minors in general?
There is a course kinda near me named Cinder Ridge..
Some guy basically designed it himself and carved it out of an old strip mine. It used to be really cool - there were big old rusting pieces of machinery, one stream ran red with iron, just off the rough the land looked like a wasteland that you could imagine Mad Max tearing across. A couple of the sand traps were filled with black coal dust. There was a skeevy mobile home park behind one green.
Over the decades it has been cleaned up, such that now it too closely resembles so many other courses. Haven’t played it for several years. Used to be very affordeable - cheap beer too!
In California? It does. Of course I expect that they intend to eliminate minimum wage; or in cases like this not bother with wages at all. These are the people who admire the Confederacy, after all.
Here I’ve been thinking that Trumps version of a “Great America” was the pre-civil rights era 1950’s. Turns out it’s more like the pre-union era 1890’s.
This shouldn’t be surprising. That was the era of the robber barons. The rich could be extraordinarily rich and who cares about the poor? Sweatshops, tenements, child labor, company towns. The more money the biggest business leaders have, the more they’ll put that to good use to pass laws to bring more money to themselves.
You don’t even have to run out. According to Trump you’ll be happily watching TV and all of a sudden the wind will stop blowing and all the power will go out.
Considering hatred of actually paying anyone & his bigotry towards women and non-whites, I expect he’d prefer a combination of the pre-Civil War South and the Republic of Gilead from The Handmaid’s Tale.
I just thought, "What’s the worst thing they could do? – And went a step further.
So long as he’s in power the wind will never stop. It’s a hot wind, too.
Trump orders “improper ideology” expunged from the Smithsonian.
