As I (kindasorta) referred to in another thread, one key to getting it done fast would be to forego testing the output from the new system — created, no doubt, by pushing code generated by AI.X straight to production — against the current output. I mean, they’re different systems, so you can’t expect the same results, amirite?
Oh my god yes. There will be so many moving pieces.
I think these billionaires think - “Why are we giving 10’s of thousands of people 3k a month. That’s not even pocket change, they should just use their American Express card and have their accountants deal with it”
I believe it’s the above, and not understanding or having the first clue what it’s like to wonder where your next meal is coming from.
And also, they want to enrich themselves? Billionaires want to screw the little people to get more money? They have NO concept of what the word enough means.
And don’t bother to examine or try to remediate the (doubtless innumerable) kludges, hacks and workarounds that have crept into the existing code over the decades. Just have AI.X read the COBOL and do a line-for-line translation to Python or whatever. What could go wrong?
In a sit-down interview with Fox News personality Laura Ingraham in the Oval Office, the second-time president bragged that his youngest son may have a future in tech because, apparently, the 19-year-old college freshman knows how to turn his laptop on.
When Ingraham asked the president if Barron shows more of a propensity for business or politics — a valid question, considering he’s currently enrolled New York University’s Stern School of Business — the elder Trump responded “maybe technology.”
“He can look at a computer…” Trump responded, trailing off. “I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?’ ‘None of your business, dad.’”
Donald Trump on his son Barron: “He can look at a computer… I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back about five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?’.. He’s got an unbelievable aptitude in technology."pic.twitter.com/YSsM6EJU1J
Watch, Trump will tell Elon that he should hire Barron to fix SSA code.
Would you kindly shut the fuck up about your doomsday prophecies and stop dragging these fantasies of yours into every single Trump-adjacent thread, you paranoid lunatic?
It’s constantly the same thing out of you every single day. Nuclear war this, genocide that, thousands of people being murdered on sight by bloodthirsty soldiers who only live to kill. You’ve been at it for seven years and it honestly sounds like you’re DISAPPOINTED that it hasn’t happened yet.
You’d almost think people were being dragged off the street by masked thugs just for criticizing Trump or being shipped off to foreign prison camps without due process oh wait…
Nuclear war? Nothing. Protesters getting shot in the streets? Quite a lot. I mean, it was happening to a lesser extent in his last administration, and suppression of criticism is much further advanced already.
When Trump has several thousand people summarily executed in the street all at once for protesting, like he’s been predicting since 2017, he’ll have a point.
When I first saw that, I thought, “Someone should really tell them about Phoenix!”
By July 2018, Phoenix has caused pay problems to close to 80 percent of the federal government’s 290,000 public servants through underpayments, over-payments, and non-payments.
