The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues

Kill them all, probably.

I realize there is a “coaches are dim” belief, but in my HS the wrestling coach was the biology teacher, and the football coach was the good math teacher. And my wife’s cousin teaches AP World History when not coaching basketball and softball.

Return to where? Much of this office space is gone/consolidated into something else. These people are clueless, but we know that.

This is nothing more than “The beatings will continue, until moral improves”

I know my office is gone. I work county government though, not Fed.

My office is in my home.

Well, their plan is to make as many as possible quit, so stuffing 100 people in an office made for 10 will just make that plan more effective.

Now we have AI! I’m sure it;s trivial for AI to make photos, video even, of mass deportations. No one will notice of the 11M all look the same, or how many fingers (or arms) they have, or it the flag has 25 stripes and 47 stars. The MAGAts won’t be able to tell!

You know, i didn’t even have to check the poster name to know who posted this.

As if that’s an irrational thing to expect from fascist fans of Hitler.

I have 2 questions for Dawn.

  1. Have you heard of the German concentration camps, during WWII? And the means half starving, but very determined soldiers escaped. Not a lot, sure, but some did.
  2. How soon are you going to cave on this great idea when NIMBY protests start literally everywhere where you plan a camp?

Actually 3 questions:

  1. Are you sure you have thought this thing through?

I liked this part

So, I thought you guys weren’t limiting this to only violent criminals.
Or are all the Brown people violent criminals now?

This 100%.

What about the criminal Donald J Trump? Violent? No I guess not but certainly a criminal.

I imagine they’d put some improvised rafts in the Gulf of Mexico, overload them with people, and then shove them in the general direction of Cuba before walking away. “Job done.”

I just read her letter, and my reaction was, “Holy shit!”

Besides offering 1,400 acres of land that her office somehow bought from the previous owner who would not allow Trump’s border wall to built on it (and who she then directly blames for enabling “cartel members and violent criminals to sexually abuse migrant women and children”), she goes on to brag that her office recently “survey[ed] several islands in the Rio Grande River and declare[d] them part of the State of Texas” (likely usurping federal jurisdiction and international agreements with Mexico). On the largest of these islands, she crows that “[t]he initiative to secure the island, clear it of all brush and vegetation, and install razor wire along the river was named Operation Flat Top.”

Did I mention that this poor excuse for a human is a “Christian” (not at all surprising), but is also a practicing physician married to another physician, according to her Wikipedia page?

She appears to be giving the notorious Nazi doctors a run for their money.

(I’m ashamed to admit that not only am I a native Texan like her, but both my parents also attended her alma mater medical school, the University of Texas Medical Branch [UTMB] in Galveston.)

Cue the Sad Trombone and the World’s Smallest Violin:

https://www.ndbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/matt-gaetz-withdraws-bid-attorney-general-sexual-misconduct-allegation-rcna181206

“… While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition,” Gaetz wrote in a post on X, just a week after Trump announced he planned to nominate Gaetz to the position.

I’m sure the fact that the House Ethics Committee report would almost certainly be part of his confirmation hearings had absolutely nothing to do with his withdrawal.

(I imagine that since the report involved the term from which Gaetz resigned, DeSantis can now re-appoint him to the same seat without it ever being released.)

Governors can’t appoint representatives, only (in some states) senators.

There’s literally nothing stopping the report from being released, except the personal inclination of members of that committee.

If he tried to get back in, I’m sure it would find it’s way into the public, either officially or unofficially.

Since it seems like pretty much nobody in either party seems to like him, that threat may keep him away. Sort of like garlic for a vampire.

True — I got so caught up in thinking the whole fiasco was a scheme to prevent the report coming out while allowing him to remain in the House that I lost sight of that fact. Mea culpa.

And as @Atamasama pointed out, the report is gonna be made public one way or another. I’ve seen at least one (uncomfirmed) report that it’s already been hacked.

Gaetz is out!

One down…

More like let them die. I don’t believe for a second these clowns are thinking about providing decent medical care or adequate nutrition.

I consider rape a violent crime.

Good. Better would be Individual One down.

While he was never convicted, he was adjudicated to have committed sexual assault by a civil jury. So from a legal perspective he is not a violent criminal, but from a practical perspective he’s the worst kind of violent criminal.

And when there is a big climate change induced rain storm causes the river flood and subsuming the island, the drowning of every migrant washed against the razor wire is an added bonus.

Ahh. Right. Of course it is. Put him on the bus.
