Since – at a quick glance – he doesn’t seem to usually ‘sign’ his name with his initials, it seems reasonable to interpret this use of “DJT” as an oblique reference to his stock ticker – NASDAQ:DJT, which – coincidence of all coincidences – is up almost 20% on the day.
Trump posted this on Truth Social at 7:37 AM (ET), this morning – before the markets opened, and – almost inarguably – after he made the plan to pause the tariffs.
It begs the question whether the rumor of a pause in the tariffs, on Monday, was an inside job – a trial balloon to figure out what the bump might look like.
Meanwhile … he’s not even bothering to hide the corruption at this point. Why would he?
