From the 2016 reports, the official hats are made in the U.S.A. (apparently in Los Angeles)… but the fabric used to make them is imported. This is A: In violation of the ‘Made in the USA’ labelling; and B: Denied by the owner of the factory – in spite of microscopic analysis proving it is not the same fabric called Saxtwill that was used in a hat made in 2015 and is made in Missouri.
But note that “unofficial” includes the Trump store in Trump tower (video).
Additionally, I wouldn’t even trust any Trump items with “made in USA” tags.
Because, for example, they have claimed that Trump watches and sneakers were made in Wyoming, but the address turns out to be a strip mall. If they really were manufactured in the US, wouldn’t they highlight that? With a real address and even Trump visit?
If Trump or any of his henchmen did collect do you really think much any of it would reach government coffers?

I’m only a 40-year career federal lawyer and administrative law judge, but I simply do not understand a couple of things.
FIrst, my understanding was that the deportees were sent to El Salvador to be imprisoned pending some eventual assessment of their status - I thought within 1 year. If that is not the case, couldn’t El Savador do whatever they want with them? Release them/send them somewhere else/kill them?
If I am correct, that the US is essentially contracting with El Salvador, how can the administration claim that they are entirely under the control of El Salvador?
And I do not know how the admin can send a DAUSA into court with no answer other than that he personally lacks the information to answer the judge’s questions. In what court does the judge not say, “Then get your worthless ass out of here and bring back someone who CAN answer my questions!”?
