The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues

I used the wrong expression there. What I meant to say is:

  • They already have the persecution complex perfected.

I thought the lying White House doctor was gone. Evidently not.

The only way those scans are normal is if the doctor looked at it and said, “For someone in his cruddy condition and following his lousy diet, these scans are the normal portrayal of the effects”.

The fragile little shit heard that people were laughing at his pathetic ass, so now he has to ‘manly’ go back on the attack. Christ I wish this loser would just stroke out already.

“We don’t need no stinking courts” is evidently the response to the latest court ruling against the dictatorship.

Just after, but not before, he loudly, messily, and aromatically loses control hof his bowels during a rally.

Looking back it’s amazing how many crises Donald Trump’s second term contained. Remember when we were on the brink of war with Canada? Or that time when we found out high ranking government officials were passing around classified military secrets in public? Or when the stock market crashed because of those crazy global tariffs? It’s hard to believe all these things happened in a space of just four years. Thank god the country survived and Trump’s term is almost over.

What? What’s that you say? It hasn’t even been three months? How can that be possible?

The queef heard around the world.

Mad King Donald is now yelling at the TV again.

We have officially entered the Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest? phase of the dictatorship.

I thought we entered that way back on 6 January 2021.

Sucks to have a First Amendment, doesn’t it, Donnie?

I have no idea who Brendan Carr is, but that poor guy now needs to start kissing orange ass, now he has floated into the sewer of Trump’s mind.

Or he will be next, up against the wall.

Carr is the super-Trumpy head of the FCC. He’s been a prostate-tonguing flunky for a while now.

I was thinking on a toilet but I like your idea better.

Does it really matter since he’s purportedly wearing adult diapers?

Why doesn’t CBS tweet back pointing out the utter ridiculousness of outlets like NewsMax and Breitbart?

I’m a little tired of these companies that won’t hit back. Trump’s base love his bullying, and it is often true that the only way to stop a bully is a punch in the nose.

And as Chuck Todd pointed out on WGBH the other day- being polite, or even kowtowing, isn’t going to bring back the conservatives who’ve already abandoned them, but rolling over will lose them the audience they still have.

Because NewsMax and Breitbart don’t have to get a FCC license to do the thing they do?

I agree. But it is easy for the likes of you and me to spend THEIR money, isn’t it?

It is hard to identify the line between opposition, acquiescence and collusion. And how/when the slope becomes slipperier.

But if companies, law firms, organizations, and individuals do not consistently oppose this administration - regardless of the immediate costs of doing so, I fear they will soon find themselves in an environment in which the option of opposing such efforts is no longer available.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

–Hugh Trevor-Roper, English historian, paraphrasing Joseph Goebbels, WWII German Propaganda Minister

Nor does CBS, as I understand it. Individual broadcast stations have FCC licenses; networks do not.

CBS does directly own 14 TV stations (these are known, in the business, as “owned and operated” stations), all of them in large cities/markets, such as WCBS in New York, WBBM in Chicago, and KCBS in Los Angeles; the rest of the television stations which carry CBS programming are independent of the parent network. FWIW, ABC and NBC operate similarly.

So what license does Trump want CBS to lose?
