The so-called “Miranda warning” was a clear up-holding by the Earl Warren court of the 5th and 6th amendments. If the John Robert’s court can somehow weave nuances into that precedence, then it’s all over.

How can the dictator-in-chief’s flunkies arrest the governor? Evers should be protected from prosecution for any act he takes while in office just like the felon-in-chief is. They are both chief executive of their governments.

The arrest will be massively popular with the MAGA’s and provoke outrage maybe around the world (Putin has arrested governor types who rather often soon die of heart attacks or fall out of windows - so not all countries).
The charges better be able to stand, else (IANAL) I believe the judge can dismiss them right off, with prejudice (meaning pull this shit again, and you, Mr. Attorney, will be held in contempt).
Yet the message will be sent. As I recall, Trump threatened various people in Georgia in 2020 over the vote count. I believe he’s also threatened the Governor of New York. If this happens, they’re all (Democratic Governors) under threat.
I would not be at all surprised if he took the oath of office with his fingers crossed behind his back. There is nothing Trump loves more than an exception to the rules specific to him.
This would have counted as Trump’s downfall back in the day, then perhaps Trump’s stupid move of the year, then maybe his fuck-up of the month and, more recently, his blooper of the week.

He’s a master of the Farce. And speaking of movies, Trumpy has suggested that he wants to somehow tariff movies made outside the US. How would this work? No idea! But it’s more loud misdirection while he does other crap. But National Security!
But he’s really not. Not a single thing he’s done in his entire life has been up to snuff. Just because the other morons believe him, that does not make him a master.
Exactly my thoughts: would the movie theaters have to pay the tariffs, or the distributor? Would it be a tariff per movie, or per viewer? Will it depend on the length? Cheaper for Black&White? Would this tariff apply equally to all countries? What about international joint productions, where several countries are involved, often spanning more than one continent? I don’t think he cares.
And concerning the image as fake star wars: Has nobody told him that red light sabres are sith light sabres? Shall we call him Darth Don from now on? Or simply Darth Moron?
