You have a very different view of America’s current trajectory than I do. Once that pesky First Amendment has been beaten into submission, it will be easy enough to raise the crime rate to get more prisons full of slaves workers wicked criminals making labor-based reparations to society.
It does make it easier to visit their relatives.

I’m thinking they will start with commercials soon. That’s where you see the most diversity in entertainment. They will pressure corporations with their anti-DEI policies to get rid of all woke ads and make MAGA approved clean ones. Hell, there’s probably a section about it in Project 2025.
SNL did a skit last week which entailed Trump signing dozens of ridiculous* Executive Orders, one of which banned interracial couples in TV commercials.
*I mean, they could scarcely be more ridiculous than his actual ones. Perhaps “comical” is a better word. Then again…
Jesus, people, don’t give him ideas. Interracial couples on television have been a longstanding trigger for the right.
Oh, heck, I remember when companies started making commercials with black people in them, in the 1980s. Some people were up in arms about that, too.
In 1985, I visited some relatives in Arizona, and remember a McDonald’s commercial that was in Spanish, with all Hispanic actors.
Wasn’t there a whole thing at one point where “the right” tried to boycott Barney because the man inside was a black man?
Do you remember the major freakout when General Mills aired a Cheerios commercial with an interracial family?

Trump has instructed his DOJ to look into securing the release of Tina Peters, a former Colorado elections clerk who is serving 9 years for election machine-related tampering.
She was prosecuted by a Republican district attorney and found guilty by a jury of her peers in a GOP-majority county.
