Wondering about Little Marco. Is he really going to want to stay in this shitshow until the end? His reputation, such as it is, will be ruined, and anyway, was he ever a billionaire standing to reap the rewards? He’s selling his “soul” and suffering untold embarrassment for what? He had to know it would be bad, but he couldn’t have known all the shit that trump would pull. He’s still the thing most simulating an adult in the cabinet, but he looks a complete fool.
Most of them, at least in public, still think it’s good.

For one thing, I’m afraid that if I don’t keep up with his BS (to the extent that is possible), something even more permanently and cataclysmically damaging will happen and I will wish I had known.
As it is, I consider myself extremely well-informed on his goings-on, mainly from this board. I do not watch any TV news, except Rachel Maddow (who has gone back to Monday nights only). I read the New York Times, the Washington Post, and my pathetic local paper, as well as Paul Krugman’s substack. I check out a few other substacks, but there is a lot to keep up with. I know a lot more about what trump is doing than anyone else I encounter here at the home, including the obsessive news watchers. I think people have given up trying to follow everything, because there is so much-- a new outrage every day. This board is the most comprehensive aggregator of what is going on in our so-called government. I thank everyone here for this. 
Don’t think for a moment that Marco Rubio is an adult in the room. He just simulated one enough to get unanimous Senate approval.
It is entirely possible to keep up with the blortfest while maintaining minimum exposure to his deformed word things, and looking at that face (“gob”) and hearing those incoherent noises can almost entirely be avoided. People continue to distribute real and parody images of the blob, beyond ad nauseum, and it seems like making his face as ubiquitous as the American Flag itself is a very very bad notion. We are failing to denormalize him, resulting in his becoming essentially infinite.
Because I don’t watch TV news, I never see him in motion or hear his voice. The last time I actually saw and heard him speak for more than a few seconds (the time it takes me to turn off the car radio) was when he debated Hillary Clinton before THAT election.

We really appreciated it. 
Unfortunately, since Donnie Two-scoops has given two Republican candidates for governor in Arizona his “complete and total endorsement” the one with the bigger warchest and personal wealth, Karrin Taylor Robson, has been running a blitz ad where that is the only thing she says with a sound bite of that endorsement last December. Not a word about what her stands are and policies will be.
Lady, that might help you win the primary but isn’t the flex you think it is for the general election. Every time I see it I throw up a little in my mouth.
He is turning America into a version of himself. Full of grievance against our longtime allies who won’t even say “thank you” - they OWE us! Fawning over dictators who are more than happy to say “thank you” to get what they want. And of course America wants all the free stuff. We are the greatest! Look at everything we have done for the world, that only we, America, could do. It’s tribute time.
It will always be mind-boggling that people have bought into this.
