Has there EVER been an administration which came CLOSE to refusing to take credit for ANYTHING, but instead just blamed everything on their predecessor? Am I misremembering Obama criticizing W for lying us into Iraq and the recession, or Biden blaming Trump for Covid?
Would such “passing the buck” have been accepted then? Why is it accepted (by so many) now?
