Not really. They generally only have about a ton of high explosive as compared to thousands of tons of explosive power for nukes. It’s just that by penetrating deep into the earth before they explode, their shock wave couples to and travels though the earth, as opposed to a surface blast which will coupled to the air which bounces off the surface of the earth.
You might be thinking of something like the MOAB which can be used to take out low lying tunnels but probably not hardened targets deep underground.
If the deeply-buried Iranian nuclear-development site could be destroyed by airstrikes, Dubya would have done it years ago, or Trump in his first term.
It would be pretty funny, in a bad way, if trump tried to bunker bust the site, and failed. Either the planes all get shot down, or the bomb just doesn’t have the size, the thrust, the penetrating power to get in there and get the job done. Just a limp fizzle.

Yes, firstly they are a much later evolution of TNT explosives. Yet, as you said, the first thing they have to do is penetrate whatever rock or reinforced concrete before the big kaboom. A B-2 can carry two of these things, and I’ve no idea if it’s better to wait till the first one does its job, yet basically the 2nd (3rd, and so on) have to be as precise on their target as the first.
I’m not looking at the rock/concrete thickness & depth numbers, yet my recollection from yesterday is it may well take 3 or 4 of these things to get to their deep underground target, and a lot of that has to do with how much and what kind of reinforced concrete - which is much more difficult to penetrate than rock.
I reckon intelligence has some idea of all that yet even if four follow each-other and form the same kind of tunnel, if it doesn’t take out the complex down there then five and six or however many will be needed. Wiki said the Air Force has admitted to having 20 of these things, and perhaps mixing in some of the lesser ones might be part of the plan, yet if this complex isn’t taken out, the whole thing was a critical mission failure of extreme belligerence the Iranians will certainly retaliate against. Heck, even if it is a measurable success.
There are 40,000 US troops within what is considered their targeting range. So it may not just be ballistic missiles raining down on Tel-Aviv but lots of other places that will kill American troops. And then what have you got?
