The part I don’t get is, if they’re really just “deporting” these people, how is, “Well, they’re in Djibouti, so mission accomplished” not enough? They’re not just arguing for deportations, they then want those people detained in inhumane prison conditions in foreign countries. I’m pretty sure that if I was one of these people, I’d rather be abandoned to my own devices in Djibouti, than sent to a shitty prison in a war zone.
