God damn.
Donald Trump presents: There’s a Fed Chair at the End of This Book
What problem does he think he’s solving here? He doesn’t even drink regular Coke!
If you want to make Americans happy about a change with Coca-Cola, get them to start putting cocaine back in it.
It sounds like Trump is just trying to divert attention away from the Epstein files.
I think he’s really scraping for something that will do that. But I think he could do better than getting Coke to use cane sugar. I doubt that that will make his now-questioning supporters return to the fold, when they want more on the Epstein files..
Get real, buddy! The felon is not going to spend that much money on poor people in the United States. He’s hit the perfect storm with outsourcing his evil to countries who only charge him pennies on the Zim dollar to incarcerate people who have committed no crimes in the host country.
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust (yeah)
Hey, he’s gonna get you, too
Another one bites the dust
(The bolding in both quotes below is mine.)
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department has fired Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey and a federal prosecutor in Manhattan who worked on the cases against Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jeffrey Epstein, three people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
There was no specific reason given for her firing, according to one of the people. They spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters.
&
It’s the latest move by the Justice Department to fire lawyers without explanation, which has raised alarm over a disregard for civil service protections designed to prevent terminations for political reasons.
The felon’s a veritable polymath! (The bolding is mine.)
President Trump said that he’s convinced Coca-Cola to use real cane sugar in its U.S. cola, writing on his Truth Social app that “this will be a very good move by them.”
Mr. Trump, who is a fan of Diet Coke, wrote in the post that he had been “speaking to Coca-Cola” about the suggestion, adding that “they have agreed to do so.”
In an email to CBS News, Coca-Cola said, “We appreciate President Trump’s enthusiasm for our iconic Coca-Cola brand. More details on new innovative offerings within our Coca-Cola product range will be shared soon.” The company didn’t add details about those offerings.
Soon, huh? How soon? Two weeks, perhaps?

Trumps says he was surprised Powell was appointed fed chairman.
Trump appointed him.
Maybe we should go back to having a monarchy. In a monarchy when the king exhibits this level of insanity or mental decline, a regent is appointed to run the government with some semblance of intelligence.
The felon’s signature (shouldn’t I say scrawl?) plank is tanking “his numbers”.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -President Donald Trump’s public approval rating on immigration fell in recent weeks to 41%, the lowest since his return to the White House, as Americans took a dour view of heavy-handed tactics, a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Wednesday found.
The same share of respondents in the two-day poll - 41% - said they approved of Trump’s overall performance as president, matching a June 21-23 reading that marked the lowest of Trump’s second term so far. Trump’s approval rating on immigration was 43% in the June poll.
The Republican president has ordered a nationwide campaign to arrest migrants in the country illegally and has vowed to deport millions of people, executing raids at work sites including farms that were largely exempted from enforcement during his first term. The raids often feature masked officials and have provoked dozens of lawsuits.
Only 28% of poll respondents said they agreed with a statement that “immigration arrests at places of work are good for the country,” compared with 54% who disagreed. Republicans were notably divided, with 56% in favor of workplace raids, 24% opposed and about 20% saying they were unsure. Democrats overwhelmingly disagreed.
Some pubbies in congress have exhibited a slight sign of evolving vertebrae. (Epstein related.)*
Republican support is rolling in for a new legislative push in the House to direct the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release more files on the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, despite President Trump’s urging to drop the matter.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who is leading the push with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), announced on social media Wednesday that five more Republicans had signed on to co-sponsor the measure: Reps. Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Jeff Van Drew (N.J.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), Eric Burlison (Mo.), and Tim Burchett (Tenn.).
“The American people deserve full transparency,” Van Drew said in a post on the social platform X.
“I will never protect pedophiles or the elites and their circles,” Greene said in another post.
Their support for the matter comes despite Trump continuing to press supporters to drop their interest in the Epstein “hoax.” The issue has split the Republican Party, with members of the president’s conservative base expressing outrage about the DOJ and FBI saying in a memo earlier this month that they would not release any more information about the Epstein case — much of which is under seal by courts.
You know you’ve screwed up when you lose the support of Perjury Traitor Greene.
Apparently, this evolution is happening in real time.
A House committee attempted to ban Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth from using official funds to change military base names to evoke their original, Confederate-inspired titles in a rebuke of his war on diversity and inclusion policies in the military.
The House Armed Services Committee passed an amendment to its annual defense policy bill barring the Pentagon from using any of the funds from next year’s defense budget to rename Defense Department installations in honor of Confederate figures.
The amendment, which was proposed by Rep. Marilyn Strickland, a Democrat from Washington, barely eked its way into the bill, with two Republicans, Rep. Derek Schmidt of Kansas and Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska, voting with Democrats on July 16 to include it.
Are you fucking kidding me? (The bolding is mine; the absolute insanity is you know whose.)
President Donald Trump claimed Tuesday that his uncle, John Trump, taught Ted Kaczynski, the “Unabomber” terrorist who used mail bombs to kill his victims.
The tangent occurred while he was speaking at the Pennsylvania Energy & Innovation Summit and appeared to be prompted by a discussion on artificial intelligence.
“I have to brag just for a second,” Trump said Tuesday. “Because when I first heard about AI, you know, it’s not my thing, although my uncle was at MIT, one of the great professors, 51 years, whatever. Longest-serving professor in the history of MIT.”
“Kaczynski was one of his students — do you know who Kaczynski was? There’s very little difference between a madman and a genius,” he added.
*I’m going to try to remember to add Epstein related to any future quotes which are related to the Epstein case.
The Unabomber did not go to MIT.

It sounds like Trump is just trying to divert attention away from the Epstein files.
Coke and circuses?

is most certainly not one of the legally permitted sentences for anyone who is convicted of a crime in the United States.
Fixed it for you
who is
convictedaccused of a crime in the United States.
The majorities of these deportees haven’t had their day in court.
@Buck_Godot Thanks! I missed that. What a rookie mistake.

Spoons:
It sounds like Trump is just trying to divert attention away from the Epstein files.
Coke and circuses?
He definitely has the clown makeup for the latter.
My favorite part of the Coca-Cola story:
Returning to sugar in U.S. production, meanwhile, might affect the nation’s corn farmers, whose yields are used in artificial sweeteners.
“Replacing high fructose corn syrup with cane sugar doesn’t make sense,” Corn Refiners Association President and CEO John Bode said in a statement. “President Trump stands for American manufacturing jobs, American farmers, and reducing the trade deficit. Replacing high fructose corn syrup with cane sugar would cost thousands of American food manufacturing jobs, depress farm income, and boost imports of foreign sugar, all with no nutritional benefit.”
Depress farm income? What’s the matter John? You don’t like Trump’s plan to lower food prices?

again, why has no one in the know leaked it?
Because, they do not believe that you or me knowing is more important than the integrity of the process? It’s not impossible…
Gee, I wonder what the Secretary of Health and Human Services has to say about this.
Dang. My fingers fought me on typing that!

“…President Trump stands for American manufacturing jobs, American farmers, and reducing the trade deficit…”
Maybe one day these idiots will realize that Donald Trump stands for one thing, and one thing only, and that thing is not the best interests of American manufacturers, American farmers, or even reducing the trade deficit. The thing that Donald Trump stands for is Donald Trump, period.
If they didn’t figure that out the first time around and still voted for him, what makes you think they would suddenly became sentient?
Because that would be woke, don’t 'cha know.
Fuck just getting cane sugar back into Coke, Trump needs to set goals and agendas for each and every business in the US.
Yeah! And have you noticed the Republican Party’s color is red, Coca-Cola’s branding color is red, and communism’s color is red? And they call the Democrats socialists.
Get your Sharpies ready, people!
here’s growing concern for another significant rain and flooding event this week, this time along the Gulf Coast, from what could become the Atlantic basin’s next tropical system.
The potential storm’s flood threat is just the latest in what has been a summer full of deadly and devastating floods.
The would-be storm was a broad area of showers and thunderstorms near the Florida Panhandle Wednesday afternoon. It’s expected to drift west into the Gulf by Thursday, where it has a medium chance of becoming a tropical depression, according to the National Hurricane Center.
With the gutting of essential governmental services such as NWS (part of NOAA), the locals just might be better off using a weather rock.
