Just to add one more turd to this shitshow, it sounds like Trump will probably insist on his awful “looks like just another commercial airliner” paint scheme for the new VC-25Bs that are supposed to be delivered during his term:
Earlier this year, he indicated that he wanted to revise the paint scheme of the upcoming pair of 747-8s back to a plan he proposed during his first term, featuring darker red and black colors. Initially scrapped by predecessor Joe Biden (2020-2024), it seems entirely plausible that Trump will once again attempt to make changes to the jets, no matter the cost.
Pray for schedule delays that result in delivery after his term ends, thus allowing for that paint scheme to be abandoned.
I think his desire to aquire Greenland is more basic. He wants to go down in history for expanding the US more then any other president. I think he gets this mis-preception from looking at mercator projection maps.
He’s dumb, but not dumb enough to fall for Erik the Red’s propaganda.
As a matter of fact, there is a respiratory virus outbreak brewing in China. I’ve already seen some of the usual folks in my social media feed claiming it’s all a hoax, and just an excuse to bring back lockdowns and mask mandates, and so forth.
Somehow, I just know that they would change their tune if Trump declared it to be some kind of dire threat. I doubt they’d be on board with another lockdown, but shutting down the borders? Sure thing.

Trump’s pick for national security adviser, Florida Rep. Mike Waltz, in recent days publicly signaled his intention to get rid of all nonpolitical appointees and career intelligence officials serving on the NSC by Inauguration Day to ensure the council is staffed with those who support Trump’s agenda.
A wholesale removal of foreign policy and national security experts from the NSC on Day 1 of the new administration could deprive Trump’s team of considerable expertise and institutional knowledge at a time when the U.S. is grappling with difficult policy challenges in Ukraine, the Mideast and beyond. Such questioning could also make new policy experts brought in to the NSC less likely to speak up about policy differences and concerns.

Gee, ya think?
Wonkette has a more colorful description than AP ('cause AP has standards).
Well, great. The AP reports that incoming senior Trump administration officials have already begun thoughtcrime-interrogating career civil servants who work on the White House National Security Council about who they voted for in the 2024 election, their political contributions, and if they’ve made social media posts that would be considered “incriminating,” AKA insufficiently suck-uppy by the President-elect’s team of suckups. Yep, the corruption is fixing to be balls-out this time. And sure is alarming that his first priority is making sure that there’s nobody who might speak out about national security issues! Whatever quos is this fucker planning to quid pro that we can’t even imagine yet? It’s going to be a pile taller than Trump Tower Saudi Arabia!
…
This is all very NOT NORMAL, unless you are Mao. And sure isn’t good for national security to trade people with experience who will give national security advice for ones that prioritize telling the Lord Emperor what he wants to hear! But only the security of his own flabby haunches matters to him, of course.

I’d cheer for the imminent massive failure of Trump’s administration except he’s running the country I live in and these are people that are supposed to make things work.
Well, Maybe Vice President Trump will start a war to take over Greenland. Getting rid of everyone who has a functioning brain will make the war a disaster. Denmark wins, and takes over the United States and forces us to have living wages and universal health care.
