The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues

Yes, and this is forever burned into my brain,

I liked how, during his shortened day at the WH, he answered a Fox or some other right wing plant about his disrespect, and he replied something like he planned to wear a kostum (Russian/Ukrainian) for suit later and added “perhaps even better than yours”. It’ll be tough to out-suit Putin, yet I’d have no problem if he wore a $10,000 double-breasted suit while fatass has to un-button his to sit down.

But yeah, his usual garb, a nice suit off the rack from a Macy’s-like store or $10K suit, it’s lose-lose-lose for him while the other two divvy up his country in the name of peace.

Perhaps he should send an envoy (if and after he’s actually invited). I hear they are “in” these days.

Zelenskyy wears the “stuff he does” to show solidarity with the Ukrainian military. Just like our president, Zelenskyy is the commander-in-chief of his country’s armed forces. He’s basically choosing to wear military garb while his country is at war. You’d think the fascists would get off on that except, of course, they don’t like that Ukraine is standing up to Russia, is uppity, and won’t kowtow to its “betters”. Or maybe it’s because Zelenskyy’s uniform isn’t full of gold braid and medals he didn’t earn?

But sure, let’s let Putin or Trump dictate to other world leaders what they can or can’t wear. That’s respecting people, amiright? /sarcasm

In the Q&A in the Oval, he did say he’d wear a suit later (which never came) and made a joke at the (I want ti say Breitbart as it probably wasn’t Fox) ‘s expense that it might be better than this “reporters” damn suit.

I am fully aware of his solidarity reasons, yet clearly he must have brought a suit (kostum is pronounced exactly like costume) so maybe there were jokes that he’d have a red nose and bottlle of spritzer.

And as I said, if he wears his usual garb, he’ll be ridiculed and I agreed with Monty if he wore a suit he’d get thrashed by trump and the right, and if he tried to out-do Putin that ain’t gonna happen.,

The clown thing was sarcasm. He still is a comedian. And his biggest (prior comedic) role was playing the President of Ukraine.

I’m going to throw this out here because it’s been bugging me ever since the felonious commander-in-cheat started whining about Presidenta Sheinbaum. The reason the felon and his magaflatearthers hate both Zelenskyy and Sheinbaum is they’re Jewish.

No, they don’t hate them because they’re Jewish.

They hate them because they’re Jews they can’t control. The are not obedient Jews who know their place - with some power, but subservient to Real Men. They are uppity. Oh, and one of them is a woman, too.

I don’t see the religion being in the equation. Trump dislikes everyone who chooses not to feather in behind him and approve his position.

This reminds me of something I saw on Facebook from an old acquaintance who is far right wing. I don’t know if it was for this, but it was definitely a “power through strength” style quote.

It reminds me of a movie I watched when I was in High School called “The Wave”. I haven’t seen this movie in over 30 years but it was one that left a strong impression on me. I think I remember it pretty well (if not, I’m sure I’ll be corrected below).

A teacher was leading a WW2 history lesson about fascist Germany. A girl asked how people could join and support a group that was so hateful. How could such a group even form? The teacher didn’t have an answer at that moment, but he looked into the history and decided to conduct an experiment.

The next day, he announced he wanted the class to be more organized. He ran a series of timed drills to teach the students how to get to their desks quickly, how to properly sit, and formalized how they were to speak in class. Throughout he was chanting “Strength through Discipline”. It was fun, and the class enjoyed it.

When he came back to class the next day, everybody was already sitting at their desks, ram rod straight backs, books out and ready to learn. As he continued the lesson over the next few days he added “Strength Through Community” and “Strength Through Action”. He says this is a new movement called “The Wave” and it’s sweeping across the nation. Anybody that didn’t fit in with what he defined as the community was forced to comply or completely ostracized. Students vandalized and terrorized anybody that didn’t submit 100% to the movement. His class was so popular that students from other classes skipped their assigned classes to attend his.

The movement was so popular, and becoming violent, that the teacher was forced to end the experiment earlier than he expected. He announces that the leader of “The Wave” is going to have a nationally televised message to his followers and sets up an assembly for everybody to watch his speech. Of course, it’s Adolf Hitler. Everybody was chastened that they had fallen for fascism, but the teacher pointed out that this was how normal, peaceful people could be swept up into fascist furor.

I think it’s very telling that our current Right Wing Propaganda is now using the same terms from this movie and none of them recognize the fascist tones.

Edited to add - I just saw that The Wave was made as a movie in 2008, the version I saw was a made for TV version from 1981

The more recent movie was based on a novel, which was, in turn, based on the 1981 movie, which was itself a fictionalized version of something that actually happened in real life.

Kristi Noem’s hilarious reaction to the latest “South Park” episode:

  1. Only liberals make fun of women for how they look? Have you ever listened to your boss speak?
  2. Oh, they ctriticized your job plenty, bitch. You either didn’t even watch it or you’re too stupid to comprehend it.

As always, IOKWARDI. And it’s double-plus-OK when Dear Leader does it.

No, she said “the liberals and the extremists”. I mean, what are MAGAts if not extremists?

Has anyone insisted that puppy killer is really a man? Oh, wait only maga right wingers do that, but that’s totally fine and not making fun of a woman’s appearance. She is such a hypocrite. I doubt anyone would make fun of her appearance if she hadent so obviously curated her appearance to fit trump/maga expectations.

I had forgotten that that was based on a true story. Thanks for the Wikipedia link!

So, he stated outright that “The Third Wave” was a movement to replace democracy. Chalk one other similarity up to today’s Maga movement. I’ve seen statistics that a very large number Evangelical Magats support replacing our current government with a theocracy. January 6th proves that a large number of Magats support overturning free and fair elections. As stupid as Trump is, he expertly applies the lessons he learned from Mein Kampf.

No.

THEIR theocracy

Any old theocracy won’t do.

It has to be uniquely American - exceptional.

Speaking of extremism and laziness, Cruella de Vile, wouldn’t killing a hunting dog for exhibiting hunting behavior be both extreme and lazy?

What frustrates me is these very same people attack others for saying the US is a democracy. These people proudly shout it is not. They hate democracy. Wrap your head around that.

I mean, there would be a certain entertainment in watching the schizmaticists fighting each other over our tenets are RIGHT, not yours, except that the anti-theocrats would still have to navigate across their battlefields while ducking the ordnance (which is second nature, as the anti-theocrats would already be keeping our heads down). The wreckage will be brutal and the mexican standoff will go on until finally someone else comes in and takes over.

Prepare yourself for when Rosh Hashanah becomes a national holiday, in the year 5789.

The felon will meet the puppetmaster in Alaska.

President Donald Trump said he’ll be meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin next Friday in Alaska after earlier in the day previewing terms of a potential peace deal to end the war in Ukraine that could include “some swapping of territories.”

“The highly anticipated meeting between myself, as President of the United States of America, and President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, will take place next Friday, August 15, 2025, in the Great State of Alaska. Further details to follow,” Trump posted on Truth Social Friday evening.

Brilliant! Brilliant, I say! He’s going to force Canada to be the newest state of the Union and give Alaska back to Russia. That means there’s no need to change the flag he humped on stage.

Hegseth loves him some misogyny, hates him some women’s rights.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The man who oversees the nation’s military reposted a video about a Christian nationalist church that included various pastors saying women should no longer be allowed to vote.

The extraordinary repost on X from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, made Thursday night, illustrates his deep and personal connection to a Christian nationalist pastor with extreme views on the role of religion and women.

In the post, Hegseth commented on an almost seven-minute-long report by CNN examining Doug Wilson, cofounder of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches, or CREC. The report featured a pastor from Wilson’s church advocating the repeal of women’s right to vote from the Constitution, and another pastor saying that in his ideal world, people would vote as households. It also featured a female congregant saying that she submits to her husband.

“All of Christ for All of Life,” Hegseth wrote in his post that accompanied the video.

So it’s not just the fourteenth amendment to the constitution the felon and his flock hate. Actually, it’s the entire document.

I do have a question that belongs in the Imponderables game: If these extremists believe it’s against God’s word for women to vote, why are “their women” voting now?

Evidently pride cometh after the fall. (The bolding is mine.)

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has vowed not to back down from celebrating America’s “proud” Confederate history.

“We recognize our history,” Hegseth told Fox News host Will Cain on Thursday. “We don’t erase it. We don’t follow the woke lemmings off the cliff that want to tear down statues… We’re proud of our history.”

Hegseth was defending the decision to restore a Confederate monument in Arlington National Cemetery that critics say whitewashes the history of slavery in America.

If he’s so damn proud of those traitors, perhaps he should relocate to Americana.

Yes, I’m laying responsibility for this police officer’s death at Kennedy’s anti-vaccine anti-science feet.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A gunman at the Emory University Atlanta campus was killed during a Friday shooting incident, according to law enforcement officials.

A DeKalb County police officer has also died following the shooting, according to the agency.

The shooting was reported at Emory Point CVS.

&

7:29 p.m. | A law enforcement official told CNN that after speaking with the suspected shooter’s family members, police are investigating that the CDC was the suspected target. They are investigating the shooting as the suspected shooter was either sick or believed they were sick and blamed the illness on the COVID-19 vaccine, CNN reported. The shooter has not been identified.

The felon’s War on America has a brand-new hit list.

DENVER ‒ The Trump administration is threatening to sue and withhold federal funds from more than 20 “sanctuary” states, cities and counties, because of their lack of cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

“Sanctuary policies impede law enforcement and put American citizens at risk by design,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement. “The Department of Justice will continue bringing litigation against sanctuary jurisdictions and work closely with the Department of Homeland Security to eradicate these harmful policies around the country.”

Inclusion on the list, which includes Democrat-run California and Colorado, but also Republican-led Vermont, comes with the explicit threat of lawsuits and federal funding halts. And border czar Tom Homan has previously promised to “flood” those jurisdictions with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Several federal judges have blocked the administration’s previous efforts to punish some of those jurisdictions, including Chicago and Portland, Oregon.

According to the Department of Justice, the following communities are offering “sanctuary” to immigrants who lack the legal right to be in this country.

Here’s my dream. Everyone in these targeted sanctuary locales avails themselves of the second amendment and starts open carrying (after getting any necessary permits) when the felon’s goons arrive.

President Scheinbaum has some more blunt words for the felon.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum insisted Friday that there would be “no invasion of Mexico” following reports that President Donald Trump had ordered the U.S. military to target Latin American drug cartels.

“There will be no invasion of Mexico,” Sheinbaum declared after The New York Times reported that Mr. Trump had secretly signed a directive ordering military force against cartels his administration has declared terrorist organizations.

“We were informed that this executive order was coming and that it had nothing to do with the participation of any military personnel or any institution in our territory,” Sheinbaum told her regular morning news conference.

AFP contacted the Pentagon to confirm the order but has not yet received a response.

The Times said Mr. Trump’s directive provided an official basis for military operations at sea or on foreign soil against the cartels. Separately, the Reuters news agency, citing law enforcement documents, reported that the FBI is seeking to add drug cartel suspects to the U.S. government’s terrorist watch list.

This is getting too serious and too dangerous.

Intel CEO isn’t a fan of central government management of business.

Intel’s top executive fired back at President Donald Trump, who demanded his resignation over reported conflicts of interest earlier this week.

Chief Executive Officer Lip-Bu Tan bemoaned “misinformation” being spread about his track record and said he was committed to the company after Trump called for him to step down due to his reported ties to Chinese firms.

Back in April, Reuters exclusively reported that Tan had invested at least $200 million in hundreds of Chinese advanced manufacturing and chip firms, some allegedly linked to China’s military.

The CEO’s public letter came the same day that Trump criticized those reported investments in a post on his platform, Truth Social. The president called for Tan to “resign, immediately,” adding that there was “no other solution to this problem.”

“I know there has been a lot in the news today, and I want to take a moment to address it directly with you,” Tan’s letter begins.

“I want to be absolutely clear: Over 40+ years in the industry, I’ve built relationships around the world and across our diverse ecosystem – and I have always operated within the highest legal and ethical standards,” Tan wrote in a Thursday, Aug. 7 letter addressed to Intel employees.

I think that last part is where he lost the felon-in-chief.

51st Staters avoid the Lower 48.

States across America are suffering from a steep decline in Canadian tourism following a tumultuous first half of 2025.

Canadians returning to the country by automobile from the United States declined 33.1% in June, compared to the same time last year, according to Canada’s national statistical agency. And Canadians returning from the U.S. by air dropped 22.1 percent. In fact, the agency said June was the sixth consecutive month of year-over-year automobile declines.

The dip in Canadian tourists follows a turbulent political year that saw President Donald Trump campaign to make the country the “51st state." In February, then-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called for Canadians to not spend their money on vacations in the U.S, instead asking them to “choose Canada” and change their “summer vacation plans to stay here in Canada and explore the many national and provincial parks, historical sites and tourist destinations our great country has to offer,” according to The New York Times.

As of April, advance bookings for flights from Canada to the U.S. between April and September were down more than 70% compared to the same time last year, according to Axios, citing statistics from aviation data firm OAG.

Even just a small dip in tourism could be very costly since Canadian travelers typically account for the highest number of international visitors to the U.S., according to the U.S. Travel Association. In 2024 alone, a total of 20.4 million Canadians visited the country, generating $20.5 billion in spending. A 10 percent reduction in visitor numbers, for example, would equate to a potential loss of $2.1 billion.

Great job, Felon! Really, is there any aspect of governance you have manage to NOT screw up?

We have a new unit of time! 53 Days is now a billylong (note the spelling, if you please).

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has removed former U.S. Rep. Billy Long as IRS commissioner less than two months after his confirmation, a White House official said Friday.

It was not immediately clear why Long was dismissed. His quick exit makes him the shortest-tenured IRS commissioner confirmed by the Senate since the position was created in 1862.

Long said in a social media post that Trump had nominated him for an ambassadorship.

&

Long’s ouster only compounds the turmoil at the nation’s tax collector, which has been beset by turnover since the beginning of Trump’s second term. The IRS shuffled through four acting leaders before Long was confirmed in June and has lost a quarter of its staff since the Department of Government Efficiency burrowed in in a self-stated mission to reduce waste, fraud and abuse.

The felon’s weaponizing the government again. (The bolding is mine.)

The Justice Department has opened an investigation into New York State Attorney General Letitia James, in an apparent act of Trumpian retribution.

Two grand jury subpoenas were issued to James’s office, requesting information pertaining to the Attorney General’s previous investigations into the Trump Organization and the National Rifle Association, reported CNN.

The subpoenas are related to Trump’s bank fraud case, which James won against Trump in 2024, forcing him to cough up $454 million for his family’s faulty business practices.
