The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues

Find a video of Illinois gov Pritzker’s response today about Trump sending the national guard to Chicago. It’s exactly what you’re looking for.

Democrats in congress are indeed powerless but governors aren’t.

Yes! I watched it! That’s what I’m talkin’ 'bout!

I urge everyone to read the full text!

Trump floats the possibility of renaming the Department of Defense back to its original pre-1947 name of the Department of War. Odd choice for a self-proclaimed man of peace.

And listen to his comment about needing an act of Congress to change it.

“Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges.”

He got a Golden Badge from the US Marshall Service and it comes with a Golden handcuff key.

Get with the times, friend! That’s no longer called that. It’s a club. Not a club sandwich; it’s just a club.

The felon really does want to be a dictator. Remember: every day is “day one” of the rest of your life. (The bolding is mine.)

President Donald Trump on Sunday threatened to investigate Chris Christie over a decade-old political scandal and revoke ABC News’ broadcasting license after the Disney-owned network aired an interview in which the former governor sharply criticized the president.

“Donald Trump sees himself as the person who gets to decide everything, and he doesn’t care about any separation. In fact, he absolutely rejects the idea that there should be separation between criminal investigations and the politically elected leader of the United States,” Christie said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” while discussing the FBI’s Friday morning raid of Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton’s home and office.

“I just watched Sloppy Chris Christie be interviewed” on ABC’s “This Week,” the president posted to his social media platform hours later. He accused Christie, a former Trump ally, of lying “about the dangerous and deadly closure of the George Washington Bridge in order to stay out of prison,” referring to the 2013 “Bridgegate” scandal in which several Christie aides and allies colluded to create traffic jams on the bridge to punish a local Democratic mayor. (Christie was never implicated in the scandal and has long denied any connection to the conspiracy.)

“Chris refused to take responsibility for these criminal acts,” Trump added. “For the sake of JUSTICE, perhaps we should start looking at that very serious situation again? NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!”

Okay, I admit it. I bolded that last part because of the irony.

And the felon has another court order to violate in relation to Garcia. (The bolding is mine.)

A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deporting Kilmar Abrego Garcia for a second time – after he was wrongfully removed to El Salvador earlier this year.

District Judge Paula Xinis of Maryland ruled from the bench on Monday, Aug. 25, that the government cannot deport Abrego Garcia until she can hold a hearing on his latest lawsuit challenging his deportation.

Xinis’ order came just hours after U.S. immigration agents detained Abrego Garcia when he reported to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Baltimore for what his attorneys had been told was a mandatory check-in. Agents detained him within 60 seconds of his arrival, said his attorney, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg.

The felon loves him some old timey titles. (The bolding is mine.)

Is the best defense a good offense? President Donald Trump thinks so.

Twice on Aug. 25, Trump brought up his previously stated intention to rename the Department of Defense to what it was once called - the Department of War.

He also brushed aside any concerns about Congress not going along with his plans.

“We’re just going to do it,” he told a reporter in the Oval Office, when asked if such a change would require an act of Congress. “I’m sure Congress will go along, if we need that. I don’t think we even need that.”

Of course he’s “just going to do it”. Congress let him pull that nonsense with “DOGE”. What’s going to stop him?

How is this even possible for the Healthiest Man Alive?

Images of President Donald Trump’s hand, appearing to be covered in a patch of makeup, have gone viral over the past few days, after similar images of his hand were captured and circulated last month.

Zoomed-in photos of the president during an Oval Office appearance on Aug. 22 show the back of one of his hands with a section of skin covered in light foundation makeup, which has sparked conjecture among social media users.

On Monday, Aug. 25, bruising on Trump’s right hand was apparent in photographs taken in the Oval Office during a meeting between the president and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.

The White House announced on July 17 that the Republican leader had been recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common vein condition, after images taken of the president showed visible swelling in his lower legs. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at the July news conference that the diagnosis came after medical tests to examine the leg swelling and bruising on the back of the president’s right hand.

If it’s chronic, that means it’s been going on for a while, doesn’t it? So the big bad ass isn’t now, nor was in the past, as healthy as he and his flacks pretend.

The felon just fired the Federal Reserve governor!

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook late Monday, a surprise move constituting a sharp escalation in his battle to exert greater control over what has long been considered an institution independent from day-to-day politics.

Trump said in a letter posted on his Truth Social platform that he is removing Cook because of allegations that she committed mortgage fraud. Bill Pulte, a Trump appointee to the agency that regulates mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, made the accusations last week.

Pulte alleged that Cook had claimed two primary residences – in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Atlanta – in 2021 to get better mortgage terms. Mortgage rates are often higher on second homes or those purchased to rent.

The announcement came days after Cook said she wouldn’t leave the seven-member Fed board despite Trump previously calling for her to resign. Senate Democrats had expressed support for Cook.

&

Trump argued that firing Cook was constitutional, even if doing so will raise questions about control of the Fed as an independent entity.

&

The firing is likely to touch off a legal battle and Cook could be allowed to remain in her seat while the case plays out. Cook would have to fight the legal battle herself, as the injured party, rather than the Fed.

Remember: Every day is “Day One” of the rest of your life.

I’ll have to post this next one both here and in the martial law thread.

The dictator wants to overturn another election.

President Donald Trump threatened to remove D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) if she does not “get her act straight."

Trump escalated his attacks on Bowser in recent days after he ordered a federal takeover of Washington, D.C. earlier this month. He has repeatedly accused her of falsifying crime statistics of the nation’s capital despite presenting no evidence for his claim.

Trump threatened to remove Bowser and take over Washington, D.C. during a press conference on Friday afternoon.

“I’m tired of listening to these people say how safe it was before we got here. It was unsafe. It was horrible. And Mayor Bowser better get her act straight, or she won’t be there very long, because we’ll take it over with the federal government run it like it’s supposed to be run,” Trump said on Friday.

“The numbers were horrible. There was a crime infested rat hole, and they do have a lot of rats. We’re getting rid of them too. And we’ve made a lot of progress,” he continued.

Remember: Every day is “Day One” of the rest of your life. Or, in this case, of the rest of the term.

This next one is a video, so I’m going to post the link and the entire blurb. It’s worth the watch and even listening to the felon’s insufferable voice.

The president appeared to confuse multiple officials, invented a governor, and warned of invasive fish in a chaotic Oval Office appearance.

President Donald Trump, 79, confounded his audience during an executive order signing Monday in the Oval Office, rambling about an imaginary governor named “Kristi Whitman.” “You know, I did a favor for Kristi Whitman,” Trump said, seated behind the Resolute Desk. “Whitmer,” he added moments later, in what seemed like a fleeting moment of self-correction—though he still appeared to be referring to a nonexistent “Kristi Whitmer.”

The Gov is having far too much fun with this.

“Make America Gavin Again.”

That’s on a flag in the Patriot Shop.

The felon finally signed an EO to protect his favorite sex toy. (The bolding is mine.)

While many Americans agree with the sentiment behind President Donald Trump’s latest executive order, his attempt to criminalize the act of burning the American flag has some of his fellow conservatives voicing their concerns over our constitutional right to freedom of speech.

“I would never in a million years harm the American flag,” conservative talk radio host Jesse Kelly wrote in an X post on Monday. “But a president telling me I can’t has me as close as I’ll ever be to lighting one on fire. I am a free citizen. And if I ever feel like torching one, I will. This is garbage.”

The drama stems from a new executive order Trump signed on Monday, which would see flag-burners go to jail for one year. The president claimed the decision was made in an effort to prevent riots.

“What happens when you burn a flag is the area goes crazy,” Trump said in front of reporters and staff. “If you have hundreds of people, they go crazy. You can do other things. You can burn this piece of paper. You can — and it’s — but when you burn the American flag, it incites riots, at levels that we’ve never seen before. People go crazy, in a way, both ways. There are some that are going crazy for doing it. There are others that are angry, angry about them doing it.”

Maybe I’m being unkind here. Why should I criticize him for not wanting to get hot ashes on his dinky dick?

One xit even describes how the EO is self-canceling.

President Trump’s executive order on flag-burning is replete with qualifiers that strip it of any discernible meaning. “To the fullest extent possible” sounds aggressive, but it actually means “within the bounds permitted by law.”

The Revenge Tour continues.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Monday said he would target former President Joe Biden’s circle, calling them “evil people.”

“There were some brilliant people,” Trump said, referring to Biden’s allies in his White House. “But they’re evil people, and they’re going to be brought down. They have to be brought down 'cause they really hurt our country.”

Trump’s threat to have his political opponent’s allies “brought down” marks his latest move to potentially target political adversaries in a pattern that has alarmed critics who paint the president as pursuing retribution and say he is weaponizing the Justice Department — a claim the president has made about the Biden administration.

It’s not like there’s anything pressing needing the attention of the purported head of the federal executive department, so why not, huh?

Felon News Network goes all in on supporting him.

A Fox News pundit went on an unhinged rant likening the history of slavery in America to plane crashes Sunday while defending President Donald Trump’s attacks on the Smithsonian Institution.

The president raged this week that the museum complex dwells on “how horrible our Country is, how bad slavery was,” instead of celebrating “brightness.”

Speaking on his show Media Buzz on Sunday, host Howard Kurtz said Trump “had to know that using that phrase about slavery would spark an enormous backlash.”

“I think he’s right,” Fox News contributor Clay Travis responded.

The conservative radio host argued that Trump wants the nations museums to reflect the country’s “soaring aspirations and goals,” as opposed to “the things that America has done wrong,” before launching into a bizarre comparison.

“Look, I took my son to the Smithsonian, I think the Air and Space Museum. They do a fabulous job of putting on the history of air and space. I didn’t see a single report inside the Air and Space Museum about plane crashes and the thousands of people who have died in them,” Travis said.

“That doesn’t mean that they don’t exist. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t a substantial part of history of space and exploration and plane travel.”

I’ve been to that museum many times and I can vouch for the veracity of the following statement from that link.

Setting aside the absurd attempt to equate plane crash victims to America’s centuries-spanning history of forcibly enslaving millions of Black people, the Smithsonian does in fact feature exhibits and reports on aviation disasters.

And the next day said this like no one would remember his threat from Sunday.

Investigate Christie? Wherever did that notion come from.

If you say so. Do you even know how many countries there are in Europe?

I guess he just didn’t look hard enough

That will come as quite the surprise to President Roberta Metsola, President António Costa, and President Ursula von der Leyen.

Survival, both for the Democrats and the donor class. They are just too stupid to realize that fascists don’t care if they are “beholden to you”, and in fact are likely to regard killing you as a way to resolve the issue. And there’s no need to care about “donors” when you can just take what you want by force.

But the rich think wealth is invincible, and both groups have a sublime certainty that “the system” is some law of nature even as they destroy it.

Democrat donors are buying politicians.
Republican donors seem to have bought a country.

I expect we’ll start Trump demanding Democrat donors be investigated for their clearly criminal support of the Democratic Party.

And the top republican seems to have sold the country out.

“We’re charging them with assault with a deli weapon.”

ahem

It was an homage. Fromage? Whatever that fancy term for stealing is.

I’ll go along with this much:

“They jokingly call me the president.” Period.

Except this joke isn’t funny.

It’s been pretty well established that Trump doesn’t understand jokes. Like, legitimately.

A perfect punishment for Trump would be the sudden ability to hear the private thoughts of everyone he comes into contact with.

Okay, smile, pretend you’re wildly happy to be shaking hands with this smelly, piece of shit human being…

You’re giving him credit for actually thinking. Why do that at this point?

He doesn’t care about peace or war or any of that. He cares that Department of War “sounds tough”. Everything he says makes more sense if seen through the lens of a mentally deficient 12 year old boy trying to play bully.

12?
