To remove Asbestos you go in with full white hooded suits and masks and take that stuff apart slowly and deliberately. Special vacuums would need to be used (not that kind that blow stuff out).
If you’re upgrading your somewhat old house and an inspector finds Asbestos, you will be paying a very big bill to do it right.
Trump (along with others) used to have the “right” inspectors on their payroll. $10 for some masks and that’s as much as he’d do for his contractors.

Every house built before 1975 is a Superfund Site.
But, at least in my state, there are no inspectors checking single family homes prior to demo. So most contractors (and homeowners) do the demo and simply don’t look for problems. By the time an inspector actually sees the project, it’s down to studs or maybe even at wiring rough-in and insulation.
That fine dust gets everywhere. The dumpsters will be filled and floated down the Potomac and into the Chesapeake Bay. Heck, maybe just to a nearby landfill.
The massive speed of destruction of the East Wing was of course not done with safety or environmental damage in mind. Just do it before Trump has to live in it again.
If he’s fortunate, his big, beautiful, perfect ballroom will be done this time next year. Gold plated.

This isn’t the first time they targeted boats in the Pacific.
My question – which I haven’t heard anyone raise or answer – is Where are these boats coming from? And where are they supposed to be going?
The ones in the Caribbean I can sort of understand – Trump claims that they’re coming from Venezuela and going to the US. That at least makes some geographic sense.
But Venezuela doesn’t border the Pacific, so where are they coming from? And where the hell are they supposed to be going? It’s a lot longer trip around the western coast of Mexico to the US. Are these boats planning on gong through tthe Panama Canal? Meeting up with Mother Ships in the Pacific?
This makes no sense at all.
Colombia. We have always been at war with Colombia.
Colombia is the only possible answer, unless they’re coming through the Panama Canal. Which a small fishing boat or cruiser probably wouldn’t do. But, as you point out, a trip from the Pacific coast of SA to the USA coast is a helluva lot longer trip than from SA through the Caribbean to the USA Gulf Coast.
I don’t know which kind of boats these “smugglers” have, but it’s like 1700 miles from Venezuela to even the closest landing site in the US. Most of what people consider “smuggler’s boats” have a range of several hundred miles. I just don’t get what the regime thinks that they are proving with this bullshit. Do they?
Their base doesn’t know geography, and if they did they wouldn’t care anyway. “Trump’s blowin’ up drug dealers! Yeah baby!! USA! USA! USA!”
