The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues

One man’s “obeying in advance” is another’s reductio ad absurdum, which by how widespread the Tuskegee Airmen/WASP story has spread is apparently not “making the autocrat’s job easier.”

It’s broken through into the MAGAsphere judging from Fox"News" articles. Maybe it will tickle the consciences of less-crazy MAGAs who don’t hate minorities but have been propaganda’d into believing DEI means “always give the job to a minority or woman rather than a white man”.

Even knowing what Trump has done in the past, I am flabbergasted. It’s as if he wants to prove to Putin that he’s as tough as he is.

I checked other sources – despite my initial thoughts, this story is “for real”.

Colombia declined to accept its US-based deportees.

In retaliation, Trump … was Trump:

Arab Americans for Trump chair blasts president’s ‘wild’ call to relocate Palestinians

The chairman of a group that lobbied Arab and Muslim Americans to vote for Donald Trump in the recent election came out strongly on Sunday against the US president’s call for Jordan and Egypt to take in Palestinians from war-torn Gaza.

Just impeach him already. Trump shouldn’t last a single Scaramucci.

Oh shit! That means the price of coffee is going to jump! Buy now before the increase!

Ditto for cocaine…

Somehow, I think those shipments are going to avoid the eye of the “External Revenue Service”.

I may have fallen for a lie which was posted originally over at Blue Sky. I can’t find the cite. I was just too hungry for some Good News I guess…

Not to mention, it’s very, very cool. “You did what grandma?!”

Why don’t we start a movement to pre-emptively surrender to Denmark. I would like to have universal healthcare. And full-blown socialism. And hygge.

We should all be proud of what our parents, grand parents, great aunts and great uncles did in the war. My father was in Burma and while he wouldn’t talk about it much, that calm level headed man nearly snapped when he came home to a new recipe my mother was trying with curry and cumin. He literally threw the entire pot out into the trash and would not talk about it.

My uncle woke up screaming about every other day until the day he died because he served in Bastogne. Imagine your very best friends being ground up alive in a meat grinder… begging for help… some calling for their Moms.

My BIL served on a destroyer off of Vietnam and heard pings and zings and saw bits of metal flying through the hull into the engine room regularly. Aluminum hulls are not as shore battery resistant as you think.

Look, we should all have pride and take pride for our family’s service. Maybe some will yank that old Garand they inherited down from the attic, have it cleaned, buy a box of ammo at a range, and rediscover what their ancestors lived through.

Please note, however, that no Trump has ever served or fought for the freedom of
The United States.

Ever.

Sorry for the continued hijack… My uncle was at the liberation of Buchenwald. Artistic guy. Worked for Disney. Cartoonist.

He got home and drank himself to death.

Yeah, I want to see The Donald collect the tarrif on that one!

As a member of NATO, ICBMs could be ( and probably are ) installed on Greenland.

Notifying Rump that their primary targets have been modified so as to provide central and southern Florida with free glass might just shove “F.O.” up Rump’s brains.

Why not have all of the coffee producing countries boycott the US?

“Until such time as DJT is either removed from power, jailed, or dead… no coffee beans will be shipped to The United States of America.”

He would just take a cut; say, one brick out of five.

Stranger

I cannot imagine why they would be. Yes, it’s closer to Russia. It’s also less secure for land based ICBMs, and SLBMs do the job they would.

Also, Florida isn’t known for its glass…

No ICBMs are installed in Greenland. There was a now-declassified Cold War-era program called Project ICEWORM which studied the feasibility of basing mobile ballistic missiles under the northern Greenland ice sheet (the true nature of which was kept secret from Denmark) but it turned out to be non-feasible, and after the deployment of the LGM-30A/B ‘Minuteman I’ and later LGM-30F ‘Minuteman II’ system which had high launch availability, capable of launching into an incoming strike and surviving near-miss attacks, and could deliver hundreds of RVs to all areas of the Soviet Union, such basing was no longer needed or operationally viable. There is certainly no reason to base ICBMs in such a difficult to access location today given the reach of modern solid propellant ballistic missiles, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) SLBM arm, and the standby capability of air- and sea-launched nuclear-armed cruise missiles.

Stranger

We did “install” four nuclear weapons in Greenland previously. Denmark required the US to remove them (all of the pieces and associated plane parts and radioactive ice). One bit is still missing but considered “not a big deal”.
