What could possibly go wrong with this? I just saw on CNN, a segment titled Woman builds retreat for pardoned Jan. 6 offenders. The video is 4’ 39" long. Of note is this comment at 02’ 05" from Don Hazard (brief bio of him starting at 01’ 14", stating he was part of the Patriot Boys of North Texas*):

Total freedom. I mean, got my rights back. You know, was able to go in a gun shop the other day right when I got back to Texas and check out some firearms and whatnot, you know, without feeling like I was doing–without doing something against the law.

And when asked if he regretted participating in the insurrection, his response at 02’ 27":

The only regrets that I have about what I did was just that I got outsmarted by the Left. It was a total setup. It was a trap, and we walked right into it. We did exactly what they wanted us to do.

What about the judges and the prosecutors who sent the insurrectionists to prison? (03’ 35")

Federal judges, prosecutors, I think, they’re all guilty of treason.

Hey! This just occurred to me. If all funds disbursement were stopped and only approved penny by penny by Trump, then the courts woudl be broke and could not function. That way, the courts could not rule his inanities illegal.

Yeah, the bureaucracy hs its share of inefficiency. As - I would contend - do most large institutions including private industry. But at least some portion of that inefficiency was accompanied by some degree of consistency and predictability. This administration wants no one - fed employee or private citizen - to be confident about what - if anything - they can expect from their federal government. Which I personally think is an abhorrent position.

Oh wait - the rich can pe pretty certain that their profits will be maximized, and that their concerns will be moved to the front of any lines.

Donald Trump has signed an executive order to prepare a huge detention facility at Guantánamo Bay that he said could be used to hold up to 30,000 immigrants deported from the US.

Trump signaled earlier on Wednesday that he intended to issue an order instructing the Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security to open a center in order to “detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people”.

“Some of them are so bad, we don’t even trust the countries [of origin] to hold them because we don’t want them coming back,” he said. “So we’re going to send them out to Guantánamo. This will double our capacity immediately.”

There’s more at the link, but let me highlight something from that last paragraph.

He’s stating here that these people will be sent to a camp not on American soil and will not be deported. They will be held forever.
