The ultimate pity post

Thank you so much everyone. I am overwhelmed.

{{{SDMB}}}

It is hardest at night. I have my son, and many friends and family to help me through this. So many things to do, but I’m getting them done.

There is some relief just knowing that he is not hurting anymore, and is in a much happier and pain-free place.

I wish I were closer to Texas, Dolores, so I could come and give you a hug and help with some of the “stuff what needs doin’.”

Oh, Dolores I’m so sorry. My thoughts are with you.

I’m so sorry Dolores. My thoughts are with you. Do remember to take care of yourself, it’s very important right now.
My widowed brother lives with me (he was 27 at the time, she died at 45 from cancer.) It’s been almost two years now. He tells me it does get easier, and I can tell it’s the truth.
Much love to you.

I’m so sorry.

I don’t know you well, Dolores, but email me if you need someone to shake your fists at the gods with. Take the support of your friends and family when it’s needed.

It gets easier. The nights get less dark and silent, and the days get more and more full. I promise.

I am truly sorry, Dolores.

Please take care of yourself…with my condolences.
