But, life intervenes – picture if you will, two small children stumbling out of bed and puking in the hallway nearly simultaneously . . . You couldn’t buy this kind of fun.

So it’s a beautiful day at the nursing home, and an old woman and an old man are sitting out on the porch. The old woman leans over and says, "I bet I can guess your age.’
The old man says, “Okay, you’re on.”
The old woman says, “Just unbutton your pants.” The old man figures, what the hell, so he undoes his pants and the old woman shoves her hand in his pants and feels around for a few minutes.
“You’re 83,” she says.

I’m frustrated because I can’t get my fucking airbrush to work, and I have a Millennium Falcon to paint. It just doesn’t look right until it get really dirty. That’s why I got on the net. Can’t paint.

Me, as usual! I only have 1 hour and 20 minutes left of work until I am on vacation until the 19th. Whoo-hoo!! I was just sitting here understanding more and more about homicidal impulse upon reading orion*orion’s bigoted, psychotic ramblings in GD. I just have to say that if I were to ever meet this person I would not be held responsible for the heinous things I would do to him. But back to mundane & pointless…I just ate some pretzels from the vending machine and they tasted like plastic. Yum! And I thought the only tastelss, weird food in hospitals came from the cafeteria!
wow. last night I was so bored, I started checking out some of Opal’s weirder links. I read a whole do-it-yourself guide to trepanation. The correct tools, technique, all that stuff. Verrrry interesting.
Man, is it one of those Testor things? I’ve gone through two of those pieces of crap. They seem like such a good deal, but they hardly last through one model! Well, my custom Starfury wouldn’t be the same if hadn’t’ve bought one, but still. Aren’t the good ones expensive, like a coupla hundred bucks or so?

My Falcon is by AMT/Ertl, which isn’t so bad. I like most of Testors stuff, but you usually have to be willing to do a lot of trimmin, altering, cutting… lots of work. And as for prices, it really depends on brand and kit. The Falcon I’m painting right now is about $20-24. The most expensive model I have is a 1/4 scale figure of The Joker on his throne. It was $104. My favorite so far is The Predator by Geometric. You can get one for about $70. It’s vinyl, very good detail, easy to build. But vinyl and resin figures and stuff can get really spendy. I do all sorts, though. Cheap ones and ones that are so expensive you expect them to be your best friend when it’s finished.
Up late for me would be around 3 or 4 pm. I work from 12:00am to 8:00am and then from 9:00am to around 12:00pm is beer guzzling time.
Babar, I guess I should have been more clear. I wasn’t asking about the model you’re building, I was asking about the airbrush.

oh. okay. Well, I use a Badger. I like it a lot, but it just seems to not want to spray a lot. The airbrush itself was about $80, and the compressor was $100.
