Bezos: As a news publisher I have to be politically neutral
Also Bezos:
Jesus Christ, could he have his forked tongue deeper up Trump’s rectum?

Also, WaPo has mandated full return to office (sorry, no cite). Which is really a way to get rid of staff without announcing layoffs. So even less reporting.
Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Martin E. Dempsey largely agrees with you:

The Post is hosting a “global women’s summit” with featured speakers Lara Trump and Kellyanne Conway.
A fine summit for the extra-rich and/or extra-pretty.
The whole rest of female humanity? “Who cares?” Or so says that scurvy sponsoring outfit.
I, for one, welcome our new distilled spirit world’ers.
Hopefully Nancy’ll get some veiled digs in on some of the other speakers.
ETA: When I first saw “The Post”, usually I think of the Washington one, but after seeing the speakers, I figured it was the NY one. And then I scrolled down.
The Washington Post, much like CNN lately, appears to be working hard at appeasing the new regime.
May they get what they deserve.
Who can you trust anymore??
From what I’ve seen in the past twenty-five years, most Americans are ready to put their faith in J. R. “Bob” Dobbs:

Dobbs is sometimes said to be a fluoride salesman; he will have his work cut out for him if RFK Jr. gets the power he seeks.
The Washington Post refused to run an editorial cartoon by Ann Telnaes that was directed at Post owner Jeff Bezos. Telnaes has now resigned.
The silencing of one cartoonist may not seem like a big deal. But Telnaes is truly one of the best out there today, with a style and approach evoking the days when editorial cartoons really mattered.
Now the Post is left with right-wing cartoonist Michael Ramirez. Not only are his politics misguided, but Ramirez’s “humor” consistently fails to land, and his point can be confusing.
Haven’t they had some other resignations, too? Reporters who moved to the Atlantic or something?
It’s a huge, huge deal. It’s a vile act of cowardice.
Is that the last of the Billionaire’s club to show their true colors?
Billionaires should not exist. (The individual people are fine. I object to the amassing of more money than you can ever spend. Unless you want people to buy countries)
Here’s a nonpaywalled link to the cartoonist’s statement:
And the claim that it was editorially axed because of “repetition” is pretty absurd. That they had already published one column on the topic in no way argues against the merit of a political cartoon which clearly lampoons how grossly obsequious some of the richest men in the United States are behavior toward a self-professed intended dictator in an environment with distinct parallels to previous authoritarian movements (and the Nazi Party takeover of Weimar Germany in particular). It’s an absolutely gutless and hypocritical move by a publications whose motto is “Democracy Dies In Darkness”, unless they are intent on bringing the nightfall.

I agree.
Other than rant about it here or cancel subscriptions if we have one, is there anything any of us can do to express our displeasure/disgust?
Lord, is that their excuse? At least have the courage to admit the truth.
