It’s not showing up as a OneBox in the preview for some reason. But it’s a gift link to a WaPo article titled “Maggots, crickets released at Watergate Hotel in protest of Netanyahu visit”.
Crickets? That’s just going too far!
I hate those buggers because they won’t shut up once they are inside. They don’t don’t just chirp–it’s one continuous squeal. And yet they hide very well.
I’d actually rather have roaches than a single cricket.
(And, of course, all this does is make it hard on the staff who had no say in Netanyahu coming or staying there.)
I remember one of the senior pranks when I was in high school was that they bought a bunch of crickets at a bait shop and let them loose all over the school. They wound up getting most of them cleaned up pretty quickly, but you could hear a few in the elevator shaft for weeks afterwards. What a nightmare.
At least it wasn’t bedbugs.
Unless it was and the little devil monsters went to ground so fast no one knew they were there… yet.
So, will this incident be christened “Water-gate” or “Bug-gate” or something similar by the nit-wit media?
