The Who frontman Roger Daltrey not allowed to sing two nights in a row.

So Simon is the same age as George Clooney, Michael J. Fox and me. Zak isn’t even that old. Babies!

Stones tour now is only playing dates on Wed and Sat. And the tour is short , around 20 dates.

I’m a little surprised he could made to honour any obligation, since thou shalt not commit a Daltrey.

I got an email this morning saying that the show I have a ticket to see them at in Portland, on September 25th, has been moved to the day prior due to “scheduling conflicts”.

I don’t know whether this is because of Roger’s health or because Joan Jett had some other commitment, but the fortunate news is that I was able to call the hotel two blocks down from the venue, where I booked a reservation last October when I bought the ticket, and got them to move my reservation to the new night for the same rate.

Given that most of the hotels in the vicinity of Moda Center were already close to booked solid when I made that reservation nearly a year ago, I imagine the desk clerks around there have been taking a lot of panicked calls today.

21 year old Meghan Trainor postponed dates this week due to voice problems.

The Who has now had to postpone the rest of their tour after Roger came down with viral meningitis.

Bummer. I was set to see them this Thursday night (bought the ticket all the way back in October!) and they’ve already had to reschedule this show once. I hope he makes a full recovery.

:frowning:

I originally planned to see them in San Diego but I changed my mind, which turned out to be a lucky decision. I figured I’d catch the tour in Oakland in December but now that’s not gonna happen either. Best wishes for Roger’s full recovery.
