The Wolf of Snow Hollow (no spoilers in the OP)

I saw this movie this weekend. It’s fantastic! Written, directed and stared in by Jim Cummings. In my opinion, the guy is very talented, I’d go so far as saying he’s brilliant.

It’s a dark comedy and it ultimately is not about what you think its going to be about. It’s so good I’ve watched it twice!

“Terror grips a small mountain town as bodies are discovered after each full moon. Losing sleep, raising a teenage daughter, and caring for his ailing father, officer Marshall struggles to remind himself there’s no such thing as werewolves.”

Very funny, but not slap-sticky.

Has anyone else seen it?

ETA: It’s the great Robert Forster’s last role.

I didn’t realise there was a Jim Cummings who wasn’t a prolific voice actor.

Cummings also made The Last Stop in Yuma County which I really enjoyed. The Wolf of Snow Hollow was one of the multitude of streaming movies that helped get us through the pandemic. All I really remember is that the cop was played by Garfunkel of Garfunkel and Oates.

Thanks, I’ll have to check that out.

I appreciated the depth he gave the lead characters. That’s rare in a thriller or ‘horror’ movie.
