…at Clarke’s Trading Post in New Hampshire, that is. We’ve taken MilliCal there for a few years, and she loves it (and him).
I’d consider the job, except that the commute would kill me. It’d put me in the right Frame of Mind, though. A good Wofman has to be an ornery cuss>
bump!
(Aaaaaaaaaaaooooooooooooo!)
I still roll down my windows and yell “Free the Bears!” every time I drive by.
OMG!!!
I’d almost consider moving to New Hampshire if I could have that job!! And it comes with a company car, complete with rubber chicken on the front.
Man, he gave my sister nightmares for years. We always had to ride the train whenever we went up there. They had funny signs on the way too.
Man, that was such an odd place - remember the crooked house?
Yes. Of course, I just went up a couple of years ago.
A lot of the things at Clark’s are actually imported from Freedomland 00 the now-defunct Amusement park that was meant to be the East Coast rival to Disneyland (and was built by the same guy who built Disneyland). The train station, the street lights, and some of the small buildings at Clark’s are from Freedomland.
One thing they couldn’t bting was the Casa Loca from Freedomland. But they bought the plans, and built their own version – the crooked house you recall. Since I was in the Casa Loca, then, I remember the Crooked House from before the Crooked House at Clark’s even existed.
