Yes, in fact I believe that the mix of freedoms we enjoy is unsustainable.
The government regulates practically every facet of our lives and you people are worried about TOO MUCH freedom? My response to the question would be NO as those who came before us who had much MORE freedom than we do and we are now here. Therefore it won’t “become the end of us”. QED
I would rather think the obvious link would be the campaign to dumb down American voters, through bad education, the leashing of the free press, and the creation of actual disinformation stations, like FOX.

Who is this “we” you are referring to (kemosabe)? It may be that different locations on this planet enjoy different levels of freedom. That’s just my guess.
