Theist, Non-Theist, and Morality.

After lurking here for a while… browsing around, and waiting for Adman to be removed, and can now finally pose a few questions without the worry of my young friend trying to ruin it (and I use friend in a sarcastic way  ).

The peopoe here seem pretty decent and opinionated (and not in a bad way it seems), and so I would be interested in your thoughts on this topic.
Here is the issue… Many religious people, and mostly Christians, believe that the Non-Theist, and Atheist cannot have “objective Morality”… they state that Objective or Universal Morality can only be discovered through God… and so Atheists and Non-Theists are lacking morals… especially good ones.

My thoughts on this are that ALL people are capable or coming to, or defining morality, and that God os NOT a requirement of such understanding.

However, I would be interested in the thoughts of people here.

I suggest that the theist has merely shifted the focus of subjectivity.
