Ah, I see. I had read that initially as DO repeat the questions. I apparently have comprehension problems. Thank you for your help.
Dammit, I knew I was getting too picky on interpreting “a type of fruit” as being a broader category than simply “a kind of fruit” (I first entered “orange”, then changed it to “citrus”). I do too many word puzzles that are sensitive to specific phrasing.
“Daisy” was the first thing I thought of for the flower, but then realized they were mostly WHITE, which didn’t stop a lot of people even on the SDMB. I guess I gotta give less credit for being categorically correct in these games, and just go with “first thing I think of”.
Sunflower seems obvious in retrospect. D’oh!

and so on, with no extra comments in the answer portion (Blue, no - yellow!), and you used periods at the end of your answers.
Yllaria and Biffy, you didn’t use any numbers.
Fretful, you put periods at the end of your answers.
It makes for extra work when cutting and pasting into the scoring spreadsheet.

There was a woman at the grocery store the other day selling daffodils for the American Cancer Society. I picked up a “bunch” (10 flowers) and a vase and they’re blooming quite nicely on my dining room table. Without that I wouldn’t have thought of them and would probably have picked daisy.
