There is no proof of evolution

Just for the record, I asked the same question in this thread, above.

Very true. I hope I didn’t come off as suggesting otherwise; I was hoping to try and use Creation-speak and see if the OP would respond.

Ah, sorry for that. I’m afraid I didn’t read the entire thread before jumping to post.

Even so, I hope that by repeating it for the fourth time or so, srmclauren will get the hint and actually reply.

Well, back when I was a creationist, my creationist friends and I were not okay with evolution, period. Be it fish to pig or ape to man, we were against it. I assumed that srmclauren felt the same, since he kept going on about “microevolution” and all that. But hey, if your experience is that creationists are now only concerned with the evolution of mankind, that at least says something about progress.

[pedant voice ON] shouldn’t that be ‘you common descendant of an ape’? [pedant voice OFF]

Now you’re on my list.

::searches for pad & paper, finds nothing::

Later you’ll be on my list.

No, I was just expanding on what you said, not trying to imply there was anything wrong with it.

No problem at all. I just thought since everyone else was chiming in, I’d mention that I asked the question, too. It’s interesting that the same question has been asked so many times and yet remains unanswered. Makes you think there isn’t an answer…

I assure you, there is nothing common about me.

Not provided in his belief structure, anyway, and therefore not worth considering, lest the entire shaky edifice of creationism come tumbling down.

[pedant voice ON] shouldn’t that be pen and paper’? [pedant voice OFF]

::finds PEN & paper and adds glee to enemies list::

Happy now.

Honestly. When I am God-King of Terra, you are getting SUCH a thrashing from the genetically-engineered, etc. winged howler monkeys. And then it’s straight to the pickle mines.

Interest, per your request in this thread, I’m resurrecting this one on evolution. Will you be so kind as to reply to the questionin post 171–to wit, what would it take to convince you that the theory of evolution, as currently propounded by biologists, actually occurred? Also, do you have any comment on tomndebb’s comments on the dating of fossils?

I’m including a link to this thread in the other.
