There's something in my computer's trash can that I didn't put there.

MacBook Pro. Mac OSX 10.6.8 .

When I look in the Trash Can, I see a folder entitled " Recovered Files ". Within it is a single document. It is called " MerpAD Outlook ".

When I double click it, a small blank white page opens. Nothing on it.

What is this ???

Glad to know that’s the explanation. After reading the OP, I checked the Recovered Files folder in my own trash and found several odd files. Now I know!
