…video game people and pinball people.
I’m a pinball person.
Just thought you’d like to know.

I think I’m a video game person with no skills and in denial.
'Bout covers it actually.
I must be out of this world - I favor neither. Give me Full-Contact Scrabble any day!
Excuse me, Chief. Not as tho there’s any real debate here. Now if you wanna debate the relative merits of 3-ball Power Play vs 8-ball, I’m your man.
They got pinball on the IKE?
I’ve been toying with getting an old machine for my basement. They’re pretty cheap. But I get intimidated everytime I look under the top. So many leetle mechanical thingies to be maintained and adjusted…
“Video games?” “Pinball?”
When MY friends come over, we generally go for a rousing game of Dumb Crambo, or whist.
(Cursing being to quick on the submit)
Actually, there are two kinds of people, those who eat “the best bite” first, and those who save it til last.
I’m a pin-ball babe, myself. 'Course I don’t mind playing it as a video game, as long as I get all the bells and lights and stuff…
Video games are okay too but it takes me much longer to master them.
That’s right, Chief. There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who believe there are two kinds of people in the world, and those who don’t.
But, pinball and video games? Feh. I prefer cards, meself.
Pinballites: Does anything beat the orgasmic pleasure of rolling over your favorite machine?
ding! ba-ding-ding! dinga-dinga-dinga!
…if I had a quarter for every game of pinball that I’ve played in my life…well, I’d have all my quarters back.
Also, has anyone ever played that big, domed hockey game that you see on the beer commercials? That game rocked!!!
No, there are three kinds of people in the world – those who can count and those who can’t.
I like video pinball, so I guess I’m both kinds of people.
Definitely a pinball person, if I go somewhere and they have a machine on display I have to drop a quarter in it. Some of my favorite computer games are pinball games, but they aren’t even close to simulating the real things. My question to all the pinball fanatics is if someone is playing your favorite machine do you put your mone on it to signify you get it next?

Hey, Chief, speaking of cards, do sailors still play cribbage?
Almost everyone I know who’s done a stint in the U.S. Navy (and more than a few ex-Army men, but THAT’S neither here nor there) is a crack cribbage player. Most players I know, as a matter of fact, picked it up from their husband/uncle/grandfather who was in the Navy.
It that still going on, or are you all too busy playing pinball?
Those who use smileys, and those who don’t.

Uke:
Yup. Cribbage is big. A lot of people play. But I’d have to say the biggest card game aboard is Spades. I prefer my Saturday night Poker game (while underway) with a couple of well chosen (rubes) fellow chiefs.
Oh, and no. No pinball machines aboard IKE for the same reason there’s no pool tables or bowling alleys: the pitch and roll of the ship.
Finally, Montford sucks dead dog weenies.
Sorry–I can’t resist a straight line line that…
You’ve got that HALF right, Chief!
Couple of other very popular games for whiling away the long watches on board ship.
Nomination whist and chase the pisser(also known as hunt the cunt) or hearts to everyone else.
Chiefy, do you lot play Uckers in the USN ?
There are two types of people in the world: those who have to classify people into one of two types and those who don’t.
There are three types of people in the world: those who are bad at math and those who aren’t.
FTR, as far as cards go, I dig Ucker(s), Spades, and Tungk, but I’d much rather go for a night of poker and beer. (seems that the more beer, the worse the poker )
