A flex is showing off something that you can do, just for the sake of showing off.
GOAT is an acronym, for Greatest of All Time.
I don’t know Argos.
See..I was thinking shampoo brand, cornstarch(or Jason’s boat), animal.
I hear argos on an ad for Legal services. (Your favorite Attorney guy)
Favorite lawyer guy is saying “argot” which means jargon.
Ahh..I’ll listen more carefully. Thanks.
“Argo fuck yourself.”
It hasn’t meant that since a long, long time Argo.

It’s not relevant, but FWIW Argos is a large British retailer

To me, a Goat is someone you bring along to lose. Like on Survivor, the Winner of the last challenge gets to pick one person, and the other two duel it out for the 3rd spot. The one you pick is usually the one you dont expect to get any votes- the “sacrificial goat” in other words. This GOAT thing is fucking stupid.
Yeah, I agree. Goat means sacrificial goat. It’s already established. Pick a different acronym or term.
This, this, 1000x this!
The NFL used to play 14 games a year, then 16, now 17. If player X breaks the single-season record in game 17 of a guy who held it for 50 years playing only 14 games he’s not the GOAT, he’s merely the guy who set the record under the current rules. His {whatever} per game average is still lower than the guy who set it in 14 games
So the other guy is the GOAT. The concept is still valid.
We say..”oh, I got your goat”
That means you’ve been teased unto blushing and mild embarrassment.
My first thought too, but nope.
