I was browsing through Guy Gavriel Kay’s website this evening, and turned up this. The Lions of Al-Rassan is one of my all-time favourite books, so this is very exciting news, assuming of course that they don’t screw it up beyond all recognition. Sadly, the plot outline in the IMDB listing, does not make me overly optimistic:
There are so many things wrong with that I don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll just think happy thoughts, and hope that GGK is involved in this.
So, thoughts? Speculation? Dream cast?
I can’t think of any actors I’d really want to see in it off-hand, I think I’ll just be happy if they do justice to Ammar and don’t turn Jehane into some little bimbo.
