Things I can type really, REALLY fast

“Bruce_Daddy” - Since it’s my hotmail account as well as many others. Try it with the capitalization and the underscore. It looks cool to type!

My Universal Password - I’m obviously not going to tell you, but it’s a non-sense word and a number, something like “moonbox4216”

“.com” - We can all probably type that nearly instantaneously.

“Dim <variable> as” VB and Lotus script.

"boa<tab><enter> - For the “type-ahead” feature in my browser to get to the SDMB!

<ctrl><alt><delete><click> I lock my computer everytime I walk away from it and I have windows place the mouse pointer on the default button.
What about you?

WAT, its an abbreviation for “wide angle tailed radio source”, and I type it automatically, to the extent that any word beginning “wa” gets the “t”.

“stagemanager”

Not only is it my job description, but it’s also my LJ username.

“Michael C*******”

My full name.

“Theatre”
“please”
“thank you”
“If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at”

Useful (to me) phrases, used often and liberally.

I typed that in less than half a second.

power

it just kinda rolls out

lquandt – my email account name
hermajestylorna – my other email (and SDMB) account name
my password for email

I’m not sure what I can type fast, but apparently it takes me well over two years to type out 1000 posts.

Everything (though numbers slow me down a bit) – I just tested at a temp agency and came out at 95 WPM.

  • The cheat code to get more ammo in GTA:Vice City. Every time you type it, you get a little bit more, so you have to type it several times.

Also, bx2a5z, which is the hostname of my email address.

And a few passwords which look something like “b8z2jja4zx6y7NwR.” Those take a while, both to remember and to type at first, but after a while, I type them faster than normal words.

winston-salem
I type it so many times a day that now I just kind of drop my hands on the keyboard, and “winston-salem” comes out. (Or “winstno-slaem”, sometimes.)

  • Both my passwords semi-global passwords, ickleflip12 and tinkleyuck34 (not actually display here, durrr)

  • My uni login name that I’ve been using for the past 7 years.

  • My spam hotmail account-names “ilikespicedham” and “the_foaming_rabid_squirrel” (would you believe I still get random spam in the latter?!)

I’ve been troubleshooting computers since the days of DOS 3.2 and everything was fixed back then by typing at the DOS prompt. I can still bang out “edit autoexec.bat” and “edit config.sys” without thinking. Also “cd windows”, “cd\windows\system”, “edit system.ini” and “edit win.ini” after Windows 3.1 became the standard office GUI.

Many times I use keyboard shortcuts rather than minimizing all the windows to get to the desktop or navigating the start menu, so I’ll hit “Ctrl+Esc r” to get the Run dialog box and then type “winword”, “excel”, “calc”, “notepad”, “charmap”, or “cmd”.

and my email password (not “and my email password” but just my email password)

I’m with whiterabbit - everything. Mr. Legend just looked over a minute ago, as a matter of fact, and said, “Boy, you type fast.”

My universal password as well.

And

www.straightdope.com

because I type it every time I come here. No bookmarks directly to the message board or anything.

Also my screen name, Tanaqui, which I use for a lot of things besides the SDMB.

I do type most things fast–it was being addicted to an online game that did it. So I can do a lot of slang with the quickness, like

lol
;_; <-- anime fangirl emoticon
^^ <-- ditto
=p
hehe

etc. Not that they take a lot of time to type anyways.

my universal password
my REAL e-mail addy (well, sorta fast… it’s kinda long…)
my last name (10 letters)
purge a (All) (AutoCAD command)

most anything else is s-l-o-w-e-r…

asdf jkl; . One school term of typing. Everything else is four fingered hit and miss.

I always type it too fast and get .ocm or .cmo or something. I need to get myself a browser that replaces these with .com automatically.

(And yet, if you type gooogle.com by accident, and it hasn’t been registered, doesn’t try gooogle.com.org, gooogle.com.net, etc, or search for it but lets you f’ing edit what you typed.)

I get -> ^^

But what does -> ;_; represent?

I wasn’t trying to brag, it’s just that I haven’t been tested for several years and I had no clue I was that fast. And I’m rather pleased with myself about it.
