Man, I used to work in a hardware store, and we had a couple of Estwings (they were there for ages - to expensive for our clientele, I guess). Sometimes, when it was quiet in the store, I would go over and unlock the display case and just hold one for a while. The weight, the balance of it was amazing.

I also have to nominate Dewalt tools. All of them, but especially their drill guns.

There are some material things that just scream quality because they are designed so well. Things that you are proud to own, regardless of the price.

Some examples:

1. Apple iPod - in fact, most of Apple’s whole product line
