Well, that depends on whether you’re picky about qualifications. Trump’s judicial nominees have been the worst of any president since ratings began. Certainly, the administration has done well in getting judges appointed in absolute terms, but that is largely thanks to Mitch McConnell, who ensured there was a record number of vacancies to fill.
Yeah? The one thing I didn’t see coming was how quickly he would stab gun owners in the back.

He blathered away at NRA and GOA conventions. I knew it was bullshit but didn’t think he’d bail so fast.
Less than a year in he was talking about bump stock bans, age limits, concealed carry restrictions, registration, and even flirted with banning certain weapons. The NRA rolled over and played dead, those of us in the GOA will not.
With friends like Trump who needs Democrats?
Another thing I should have added is that I didn’t expect the blatant nepotism. The fact that I forgot it is, to me, a clear indicator of how far down the rabbit whole we’ve fallen. It hit home just this last week as I was reading about his dubious security clearance, and realized that it no longer registered with me or the person who wrote the article that this was Trump son in law who had no business being in any position in the first place. We all just go used to his being there and accepted it as the new normal.

Interesting you classify Trump as a 20th century President. I would put him in the 19th, early 20th at the most.
