And something that everybody who’s heard this song has probably misheard. In the ELO song “Don’t bring me down” there’s a line that sounds like “Don’t bring me down…Bruce”
But it’s actually “Don’t bring me down…grroosss”

In that same song, I thought “Does she speak eloquently?” was “Does she speak Gaelic like me?”

RE Seal’s Kiss from a Rose- I still think it’s “grave”, the whole song seems really Eddy Poe-ish. I love it!

My girlfriend thought Rage Against The Machines “Renegades of Funk” went “Redneck Kings of Funk.” She asked me because she thought the lyrics were a bit strange considering the band they came from. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder. Something about picturing Zack in overalls and a flannel shirt hoppin up and down singing about funky hillbillies.

No, the “Redneck Kings of Funk” would be by the Rage soundalike, Kid Rock :eek:
