Over the holidays, my mother presented me with this old board game she found.
It’s a 1977 Star Wars - Escape From The Death Star game by Kenner.
It’s got all the original game pieces and cards and it is in pretty decent, if not mint conditin. I was half-considering starting up an eBay account to see if I could sell it. I figure a hardcore Star Wars / Game geek would pay top-dollar for shit like this.
Then again, it might be worth precisely dick, too?

I just did a quick ebay completed auction search for you. Looks like they go for about $5 up.

I looked around ebay and I found a number of those games through completed auctions. Most did not sell. One didn’t sell at even a $2.00 bid. I have no idea why. I don’t know how much it is really worth to a collector but, to these ebay customers, it apparently isn’t worth much.
Well then, screw eBay.

Never enjoyed it much as a kid. And the artwork makes Luke look like he was drawn by some of the guys at Mad Magazine.
