7-3-5 (of course I used Excel to generate random numbers for me
7-11-4… on the novice setting. Kind of scared to play the veteran sim.
1-5-5 on veteran. That was pretty impressive.
8-8-13 on Veteran. I thought I had a strategy going (4 wins in a row - with ties, no losses), but got a phone call in the middle and lost my train of thought.
9-6-5 vs the veteran! Take that, HAL 9000!
After 70 rounds on Veteran: 24-25-21
4-7-9 on veteran
8-3-4 on veteran, but it was getting better.
9-6-5, on veteran mode.
3-4-2 on veteran. Definitely better at it than my husband.
Did it again on Veteran, and after 40 rounds I’m at: 20-11-9
Kept going through 70 rounds: 29-25-16
I just did 75 rounds on Veteran with no thought to what I was gonna throw: 25-25-25
9-8-4 on veteran.
2-2-1 on Veteran.
This is my ‘Vegas Casino’ strategy:
- don’t play too much
- quit while you’re ahead
I went 50 rounds and got 22-14-14. Quite pleased.
On the veteran setting I got 5-5-5 and called it quits while I was even
My strategy of “getting the computer to tell me what it’s thinking” seems unbeatable
After 10 plays I was 2-2 with 6 ties. So 60% of the time I figured out what the computer thought I was going to throw, and threw what would beat that, but I couldn’t figure out what would beat what the computer thought would beat what I would throw.
ETA: On the other hand it means the computer guessed wrong 80% of the time.
10-20-10 on expert. I won the last two throws to get back to .500, so I stopped!
